Daniel at Manhattan Nest did it a few times, it was hilarious.

Now every DIY blogger and their mother are using it, especially at times when there is no boom reveal to be found. It's annoying me.

Thank you for letting me rant.sani_elephantdancesani_elephantdance

I haven't seen that one!!

I simply detest: "This. Is. Everything." or, in comments, "that (insert object, color, fabric) is everything".  Phrases with "something being everything" really grind my gears, as Peter Griffin would say.

I don't think that it originated with Daniel, but it makes me crazy. There's a small blogger who uses it at least eight times a post. It's made me cut down on reading her.

I thought I was the only not who noticed this. Commercials I find particularly annoying. It's in like four right now. An Applebee's one an insurance one and a couple others.

Oh, I had no idea it was popular on TV, too…I live in South America embarrassed

I saw Daniel doing it first, I think around the time he did the hallway makeover, and I remember finding it really amusing.

After that I thought everyone was copying him (oops!), and using it the wrong away.

It still bothers me though… :/

I haven't noticed the "THIS.IS.EVERYTHING." trend, but I'm sure now that you've mentioned it I'll start seeing it everywhere…

This thread reminded me of this gem: Boom goes the dynamite!
