I guess this just shows people really will believe anything you put on the internet. I briefly worked on a project with this girl while in Houston at the same accounting firm and it couldn't have ended sooner! Contrary to what she leads you to believe, she did not quit her job, PwC fired her. She transferred to the Houston office from the New Orleans one, where they had a bet of how long it would take until she was canned. No one wanted to work with her there & no one wanted to work with her here. She was wildly inappropriate in the office setting, would talk back to senior mgmt, and constantly on her phone or doing side projects. This whole sweet & southern thing she has going for her is a well documented facade. I get that everyone has a specialty but a conservative office setting is not hers- I really can't blame her though, it wears on you sometimes.

I find it really interesting that she has such a following though. I guess if you knew her, it would be easy to see through her little-miss-perfect act but everything screams fake to me, even her 'real' pictures. Sitting on a counter while her poor boytoy cooks in the background-ummm, girl- that's disgusting, get your bare feet off the kitchen counter. Her staged photos of her looking off into the distance or down at you feet- who actually poses like that? Give me a break. It's not real, it's all for profit.

I don't get the whole religious aspect either. In person, you don't get that vibe at all but it's documented all over her social media. She's actually kinda rude & judgy in person., not exactly the Christian woman she portrays in her posts but I guess you can't judge someone else's journey. If she gives others encouragement- great, but I think she does it more for the approval/likes she receives.

I only created an account to reply to this message. Congrats to you!!! You created an account on this awful website that allows people, like you, to trash others who are trying to make something of themselves. Yet you, are sitting there hiding behind a computer bringing others down. What makes you so great? Because honestly, it is the people like you that cause people to go through depression and possibly lead to them being suicidal. Aren't you proud of yourself? Why don't you just go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back. Did you not learn while you were growing up that your actions and words affects others?  You don't have to like everyone and/or what they do. This makes you look pathetic. Cyber bullying is a legitimate thing and in my opinion, this is a form of it. So, I suggest you take your judgmental comments and go somewheres else. Isn't that ironic? You know that you called Brighton judgmental and you're the one taking time out of your day to go out of your way to bring her down? Aren't you just the sweetest thing! :)

Oh and I would just like to add something else. Assuming just makes an ass out of u and me. How people go about their religious side is their business. The things you said are pretty swallow and I suggest you take a long in the mirror before you go attack someone else online again. Tata! bye

Her mom planned the whole wedding from the bridesmaid dresses to everything.  I know that her daughter is in med school but really, do you need to plan the whole thing?

Yeah sure, I get what you're trying to say and all but why does that even bother you? Why do you even care who planned the wedding? Most people hire wedding planners, so what's the difference?

You caught me…newhere!! Looks like we have that in common. Regardless of when my account was made, what I posted was not cyber bullying. I didn't make anything up & I didn't say she was an awful person. This is a site for sharing opinions and I was doing just that, if you don't like it, gomi. What I wrote was factual & my personal opinion based off of actually working with the girl, holding more clout than the other people who say way worse things and don't even know her. If someone wants to document every step of their personal and professional life online then actively ask for feedback, sooner or later the truth will come out. I don't think I'm greater or better than anyone else, including you/her (probably one in the same), but I also don't post 5x a day trying to influence others lives. Online blogging is essentially insecure people looking for superficial attention. Think about it. You're posting 1000's of photos of yourself in fake situations, in clothes you'll probably never wear again & taking selfies in awkward poses to make people you have never met want to like you…& then make money off of it. This isn't specific to her, but to all bloggers who just copy the same outfit as the person with more followers., plus or minus a Starbucks cup.

I didn't assume anything, so I guess you're the only ass in that situation. I actually sided with her that our work environment can wear on you after a while and I noted that someone' else's religious walk is not mine to critique. I stated that the person she comes off as in real life is different than the one she portrays for her online following so just caaallmmmm down..it's not that big of a secret. As for the depression statement, If someone has an issue with depression, maybe they should focus on strengthening their own internal view of themselves before/instead of putting energy into striving for the shallow approval of others ( just a thought). Thanks for all of the predictable and unsolicited advice though. Dang, I forgot to take a long look in the mirror before responding..facepalm

Brighton (herself!) here. I never thought I would ever create an account on this awful website, but after an unexpected spike in my pageviews (and subsequently seeing these past few posts), I feel like I need to chime in here (against every once of my better judgement).

I have no clue WHO you are (River Oaks Wise), but you have certainly made this personal. You literally created an account on here JUST so you could share all your "facts" and opinions about ME.

For someone who clearly can't stand me, you sure have been following rather closely.

I didn't make anything up & I didn't say she was an awful person. This is a site for sharing opinions and I was doing just that, if you don't like it, gomi. Fair enough – I agree. And you're right, you have every right to express your opinion. But you need to check your facts (before trying to disparage someone with your 'clout'/inside scoop).

I'm not sure why you felt the need to attack my professional career as a CPA. It's one thing to say you worked with me and that I'm this or that (fake, wildly inappropriate, "rude & judgy"), but it's another thing to call me a liar and say that I was fired. You crossed the line here.

I have a pretty good idea that you were/are NOT in the Houston office (based on reasons that are irrelevant). Quite frankly, it's hard for me to believe you even worked at the firm. And if you did/do, then odds are you are/were one of my peers (second, maybe third year) because anyone in a management position (even a senior) would know better (on so many levels).

Although I'm sure someone will find a reason to think otherwise, I actually did NOT make this account and write this post to try and make myself look better. I'm smart enough to know that gomi is NO place for that. I'm not trying to defend anything either (in fact, most of my photos ARE intentionally staged and YES, I do make a profit). And honestly, sometimes bloggers (including myself) should be called out on their contradictions. Because, it's true, people will believe anything they read on the internet so it's only natural that a sort of "police" force (gomi) will emerge to monitor and regulate the scene. I get it – especially since bloggers are making a profit off of their "brand'/personality/etc. Totally fair.

Brighton-

I know it is probably discouraging to come into a site like this and read a few pages of snark but the fact that your blog is as big as it is & you only have 4 pages is incredible… there are people with 700+ pages. That being said, while some people might "hate" you without ever meeting you…some people probably only say things because they are jealous.

Also, if you WERE fired.. there is no need to hide it. I know I would appreciate reading about your experience and what you learned from it, transparency will resonate well with your readers. You seem so put together and perfect, sharing that type of experience would make you much more relatable to your readers. PLUS– look what getting "fired" (if it's true) has done for your career…. You probably wouldn't have ever devoted so much to your blog because you would have been so busy as a CPA. God has a funny way of placing us where we need to be.

Even if this girl really worked at PWC & doesn't like you. Who cares. Not everyone will like you, but we are all Children of God and you are the type of person who will take it with Grace instead of letting it under your skin.

I am ready for it to not be cold to see a just a LITTLE more variation in your outfits but can't even snark because you know to laugh at yourself..

So just keep being YOU.

Ehh… Someone's butthurt. Brighton doesn't even get snarked on as much as other bloggers. Brighton has 4 pages since her thread started in August 2014. Amcates thread started in January 2015 and already has 16 pages.

Anyway, I just wanted to share this with you guys. I think Brighton looks like the main character from My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I think it's more because of the lips and the look her eyes give. Haha…

Anyone else concerned for her and how much info she shares including the fact that she is traveling alone abroad?

Meh…getting fired didn't do anything for Her career, she works with her mom and blogs.

That being said I actually like her blog and most of her outfits, she's a SOMI for me

^^^ I agree with everything Zara blanket scarf said.

I can't stand people who claim to have the "inside scoop" …yeah, yeah, we all know you just heard it from a friend of a friend.  Unless you have legitimate, truthful information and can source it, I suggest you keep your mouth shut.

It is always funny to see these bloggers come out of hiding just to set the facts straight.

Keep on doing what your doing Brighton. You have a killer job, killer shoe collection and you some what "keep it real".

I think it's hilarious that her Instagram profile says "Ex-BIG4-er" as if Big 4 is a designer label to flaunt.  B***h please.  Big 4 Audit hires hundreds of new employees each season many of which are only in it for the Big4 "designer label" on their resume.  It's no surprise that Brighton was one of those people who only worked 2 busy seasons and quit (or was fired?) right after.
