I totally agree- they have that stand-up, half a grapefruit thing that usually means not original. Not that I care at all if someone has a fake anything but that would be weird. I guess?

These Mormon bloggers, like most fashion bloggers, cocoon themselves in this consumer feminism which is, to my knowledge, completely against what their religion stands for. Modesty is not just about covering up your oh so tempting lady parts, it's also about modesty of spirit and not consuming every product out there just to have it. We get it, you've applied spackle to your face and you own fifty seven tasteful, knee length skirts: you're a woman. Whoppee!

I was wondering about this myself. Isn't it hypocritical to espouse modesty yet draw attention to yourself through expensive, ostentatious outfits and large quantities of makeup? Obviously, indulging in clothes and makeup isn't inherently bad, but if you're going to do it, shouldn't it be done in a way that's more tasteful and, well, modest?

I actually know almost nothing about Mormonism and its rules for women, so I could be off the mark here, but this seems like an obvious bit of hypocrisy.

The bathing suit she's wearing has a wide band under the boobs couple that with the fact that she's young, it wouldn't surprise me if they are real and spectacular. Once she has the requisite number of Mormon offspring those things are going to hit her knees fast, so there's that to look forward to.

I find very little appealing about the Mormon religion (or any religion) but those modesty rules that ignore being modest in all aspects of your life really piss me off, especially since it seems like men get a free pass.

If it makes ya feel any better, she not only consumes every product out there…but she then wears them all at once. A multi-tasker!

I usually reframe from body snarking, but her boobs are really round on top and it makes me wonder if the are fake or not…

I think it's one of those VS push up bikini tops.

Yeah, I've tried on a top like that from VS and it really is 95% padding. I have decently big boobs and there was nowhere for them to go. It was not cute on me.

She looks a thousand percent better with her sunglasses on b/c it covers up the MAC store she is wearing on her face.

i must have missed the memo that mormons all have buckets of money to spend on loads of shit. i'm really rethinking this whole 'jew' thing, it's not really working for me. or my wardrobe.

It seems counter-intuitive to me bec I know they donate something like 30% of their income to the church and usually have a lot of kids… but given that they were able to finance anti-gay marriage movement, I've come to expect that they're rich.

I just discovered this girl's blog today. I can't believe this chick is 21 at all and holy 1996 at her lip liner. In that pic posted of her in the dress, would those be the special Mormon undergarments? I thought they weren't supposed to be seen..like at all. Also not trying to be rude but every guy shown in the photos on her blog look interchangeable. Her BIL, her husband, friends..it reminds me of American Psycho where they can't tell each other apart…just blondes with abnormally white teeth.

She looks like an overdone jcrew editorial…I just can't. And I think she's still in college…so she dresses like this for class everyday? How practical.
