I'm about to watch her vlog now.  Anyone check out her podcast?  I don't know that I can listen to her talk for 11 minutes but I'm about to try…sfun_blahblah

This is simply BEC…or maybe I'm just confused about the whole thing…whenever she's about to go out of town, she always talks about scrounging for leftovers to make a meal or going to Chipotle. I kind of thought maybe her husband goes on these trips with her b/c if not why does she never have food at home before she leaves? But apparently he doesn't and she makes him a breakfast casserole and a crockpot meal every time. I'm sure he's capable of grocery shopping and/or cooking while she's gone but I can't help but find it odd that this seems to happen EVERY time she leaves, which is a lot! Anyone else?!

Nah, I think she just genuinely enjoys cooking meals for her husband.  I most definitely think he's capable and probably would cook and prepare his own meals (she showed him cooking her dinner last night because she was busy packing & she has posted pics of him cooking for her before) but she does it for him because she likes to.  I used to do that for my (now ex) boyfriend.  He worked a ton so I would cook easy breakfast casseroles and sandwiches for his lunch because he worked late and was exhausted.  She enjoys it and is home to do it (which was also my case) so that part really doesn't bother me.

I came back here to comment that her podcast wasn't terrible AT ALL.  She was totally normal and really relatable.  I wish she would be like that on every other social media platform she's on.  I actually think she's super self conscious about herself so she tries to be funny but it comes off as annoying and in your face.  Someone also asked about her real life friends and I distinctly remember watching one of her snap chats early on where she said her fiance (they weren't married yet obvi) said she was super annoying in her snaps.  I'm not trying to stick up for her but it was totally surprising to hear how normal she was on her podcast.  I don't mind that she's branching out to do podcasts, vlogs and even moving on to fitness and fashion/beauty but her delivery is horrible.  No one wants to hear her rants one day about evil readers, sugar or alcohol and then her super upbeat positive motivation post the next.  I don't understand why she even addresses the haters.  Every other blogger deals with it and just deletes the mean comments and moves on.  Deal with it, Juli. You're in the spotlight so its going to happen.

Shutup!!!  Yes!  Why can't she be like that in her snaps??  So all of it is for show, do you think?  Or do you think "fame" got to her?

Hi I'm new here and going to go on a bit of a rant. I am not a juli hater but some things she does really bother me. Ive been following her since near the beginning and I used to like her (online) personality so much more before. She was relatable and funny and had great recipes. I have almost unfollowed her quite a few times now but I still do like her at times. She used to be all about being healthy but now it seems she is all about being skinny and looking good. I think she looks great and have nothing against her body goals but she seems to think she is now a guru and that everyone should be doing the same things as her. I wish she was a good role model like she used to be (strong, eating well, humble etc) but she now only seems to care about her looks and is not someone I want to be like AT ALL. I think she is insecure and that comes off clearly (as I think most of us are in one way or another).
Once she got a body people strive for she felt she could build a business off of it and thats what she is doing. I have nothing against that although the sponsored posts are annoying.
I dont like her fashion sense and have never clicked on a link once to buy something she was wearing. The hair tutorial was so awkward and dont personally think it looked good. There are so many hair tutorials out there why would we watch hers? She is just confusing. Is she trying to be a model, cookbook author, lifestyle blogger, food blogger, instagrammer…too many things and she should specialize in food.
Anyway i could seriously go on and on. I feel sort of bad saying all of this about juli but then i think of all the mean things she says about everyone else so I feel less bad.

I don't think the fact she makes the casseroles or crockpot meals for him is weird at all….I would expect that, especially for newlyweds and someone who obviously likes to cook. What I thought (think) is weird is that before she goes out of town; like seriously EVERY TIME; she talks about how they have no food in the house so she has to scrounge for dinners and/or go out to eat that day before she leaves. And I guess I just find it odd that she'd leave her husband without food in her house? Like is he gonna eat that casserole and crockpot meal the whole time she's gone?

I'm just confused. lol And maybe BEC.

She probably has to use up healthy/orthorexic weird food that he won't eat because he'll eat takeout and beer like a normal person.

Its weird to me she's on this stitchfix trip because she's NEVER talked about stitchfix before.  I get that she's been getting into more fashion posts but I don't understand why people like Carrots N Cake or Fitnessista weren't invited who actually use stitchfix and show it on their blog.  I realize they get it for free or some discount (I am assuming anyway) but it just seems so odd they invited Juli and Taralynn but they've never used their products before… or did I miss something?

Haha. If you makes you feel better, I fast forwarded the first 5+ minutes where she replayed that horrible flight with the guy's foot on her arm rest (she already posted a long story about it on SC). There was a bit of sfun_blahblah repetition on the podcast but she did sound sane, like a fitness professional. Mostly. Still baffled by her SC behavior !
