Formerly.....

There was a very similar group of people who lived in the Barossa Valley a few years back, they call their group "The Way" all the women had short hair and very plain, very modest clothing

A sadly underrated erogenous zone meowed

I am officially sucked in. I need more info! I'm not finding anything.

I can't find anything either. What I really need to do is just ASK one of the pudding-bowl women the next time I see one. How to do this politely??… "Excuse me, but I keep seeing women and girls like you in frumpy clothes with the same bad haircut. Do you belong to a cult?" ……tee hee

I am 100% behind you asking them. If they're a cult that's worth their salt, they'll surely want to tell you a little more! You could say something like, "Pardon me, I hope you don't mind me asking, but are you part of a religious organization?" and then they'll say, "It isn't a religion, it's a way of life." and then you'll know they're definitely in a cult and you can say, "Oh sorry my mistake. Does your way of life have a name and/or a blog?"

I'm so curious, too!

Have to agree with other posters… your OP cracked me the hell up. Thank you sha_clap2

And I second the poster above, I'd just politely ask. That's how I met some black nationalists in my area– I just asked who they were, and they told me.

This thread is hilarious. And the Lloyd Christmas pic just makes it.

Scary thing is, I have a hipstery 1920s bob with a fringe (bangs). When it gets cut too short I look a bit like that (I've even likened it to Lloyd before when I accidentally got a bit too enthusiastic with cutting my own fringe). I'm learning when to say, "that's too short!" Hehehe. Other one I've had is Johnny Depp in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That's not a compliment, yo. smiley-laughing004smiley-laughing004smiley-laughing004

I live near the Dandenongs and I remember reading about The Family. F**kin' creepy. Those poor kids. Children of the Corn, much?

The woman that started and ran that 'The Family' cult is in the same nursing home as my grandmother! So spooky to think that this shrivelled up lady suffering from dementia/Alzheimers (I see her regularly) is the root cause of so much terrifying and seriously messed up stuff, not to mention all the lives she ruined.

PMing you. I wonder if it was the same one my grandma was in, she died last year and I heard it was the same suburb.

Wait, Karen Zerby?!?! Ohhhh she deserves to rot in hell for ten million eternities (and I don't even believe in hell).  I thought they were keeping her location a strict secret and she was kind of on the lam.  Her son (among MANY others) was looking for her, and when he couldn't find her, killed himself and one of the nannies who sexually abused him instead. It's wild that you know where she is!
