I'm getting ready to start the last episode and I finally figured out what it reminded me of… Fringe.

I'm so obsessed with this show! I'm just a bit over half way through it.

I can't deal with the actress who plays Nancy's body though- she's clearly underweight and it freaks me out.

We are 4 episodes in to the series.  Sometimes I want to smack those little boys!!  But it's pretty good so far.

I watched two episodes last night. Omg. I was going to try to catch up to my husband, who was already 4 episodes in. We were in different bedrooms both watching, but now he's up to 7 now so there's no way I'll catch him. I will, however, make him go back and watch with me. I loved it, but it did amp me up a little–couldn't fall asleep last night.

I like the show but I'm on the fence about Winona's character. Watching her is exhausting.

I keep hearing everyone talking about this show and I'm dying to get in on the craze…but is it scary??
Like, I love true crime shows and books but I can't do horror. Will it keep me up at night?

I really liked it! Loved the 80's vibe and the music … so classic. I'm still on the fence about the last episode. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. confused Hopper was my favorite character and the kid actors were superb. I don't think it will keep you up at night, but I didn't let my kids watch it.

Hubby and I have joking about the "upside down" since we watched it. Sorry I didn't make dinner tonight, but in the UPSIDE down I DID and everyone loved it.

I'm a wuss about scary things but the scariness is a camp 80s kind of scariness so I loved it.

I'm a wuss about scary things but the scariness is a camp 80s kind of scariness so I loved it.

I am a huge wimp (HATE horror movies), but it was more suspenseful than scary.  There are some kind of gross things, but nothing too gory except a couple of things in the last 2(?) episodes, and those things are probably mild by most people's standards.  I did have some weird dreams over the course of the three or four days we binged it, but I don't generally remember details of my dreams, so I couldn't tell you if they were really nightmares or just bizarre.

For reference, I won't even watch Walking Dead despite all the acclaim I hear for it because I hate blood and guts so much.

I get a very Twin Peaks vibe from the cinematography, and when I try to describe it to people I tell them to think ET meets X-Files.

I agree! I hate horror. I don't mind gore, but I felt like the gore here was very mild. It was suspenseful because of the music and knowing the potential for some jumpy things to happen. The score was excellent.

I also had a couple weird dreams over the days binging it, but I'm not one to be so scared after watching something scary. The dreams were unrelated to the show, but one was disturbing to me lol.

Also I didn't think the antagonist — vague so not spoiling lol — was NOT scary. Once revealed, I was kind of like, meh. It was more of the unknown and the normal people that were scarier, as is life I guess…

Did anyone else get Ben Schwartz vibes from Steve? Lol, especially later on at the end. Hilarious.
