Finally finished the series last night. Millie Bobby Brown (eleven) is a phenomenal actress. The last episode got me a little teary eyed when she saved the boys. I hope we see her again because she was the best.

Hop was amazing! I loved how he believed them all. The boys acting was awesome and I thought it was cute how they played dungeons and dragons.

I thought it was a little scary IMO. But what in the world did Will cough up???

I don't usually watch shows like this but I freaking LOVED it. We watched 4 episodes one night and the last 4 the following night. I did have weird dreams both nights, but not related to the show. It was SO well done, so perfectly 80s I just can't even handle it lol.

From what I read, there should be a season 2!

I was super hesitant to watch this show because I'm normally not into sci-fi stuff at all… but good god once I watched the first episode I couldn't stop. I watched the entire season yesterday. My husband even got sucked in towards the end and was trying to talk to me about it while I was watching and I was just like -Stop. Anxiously awaiting next season because there's going to be one, right? popcorn

I'm not into sci-fi at all, but had to check out this show for my girl Winona. I'm totally into it and loving every second.

I'm only on episode 6 so I'm gonna have to wait to read all the theories for season 2.

I thought maybe the monster was keeping Will alive because its eggs / future babies are incubating inside him (shudder, ugh)

I think the end with the box of eggos hopefully means we haven't seen the last of Eleven

I saw a theory that El is his daughter reincarnated into El. I hope she returns.

See, the whole time I thought that maybe Elle was his daughter, until they had that flashback in the last episode. I thought she had been kidnapped or something.  I'm thinking that when he took the ride with the men in black at the hospital, they told him something that let him know Elle was still around.

I really want to know what they told him though, and eww, at Will's weird bathroom visit. That is definitely something you tell your mom about!

Now, will we be waiting until next summer for season 2? confused

I hope we don't wait too long. Netflix is known for that which sucks.

I keep hearing everyone talking about this show and I'm dying to get in on the craze…but is it scary??
Like, I love true crime shows and books but I can't do horror. Will it keep me up at night?

I'm a wuss about scary things but the scariness is a camp 80s kind of scariness so I loved it.

I am a huge wimp (HATE horror movies), but it was more suspenseful than scary.  There are some kind of gross things, but nothing too gory except a couple of things in the last 2(?) episodes, and those things are probably mild by most people's standards.  I did have some weird dreams over the course of the three or four days we binged it, but I don't generally remember details of my dreams, so I couldn't tell you if they were really nightmares or just bizarre.

For reference, I won't even watch Walking Dead despite all the acclaim I hear for it because I hate blood and guts so much.

I get a very Twin Peaks vibe from the cinematography, and when I try to describe it to people I tell them to think ET meets X-Files.

I agree! I hate horror. I don't mind gore, but I felt like the gore here was very mild. It was suspenseful because of the music and knowing the potential for some jumpy things to happen. The score was excellent.

I also had a couple weird dreams over the days binging it, but I'm not one to be so scared after watching something scary. The dreams were unrelated to the show, but one was disturbing to me lol.

Just came here to say that I went college with one of the composers and have seen their band, S U R V I V E live back in 2010 (or 2011) when I used to live in Austin. Just four dudes playing keyboards at the same time. Oh and a lot of fog machine smoke. I remember when I saw them live I thought, "This sounds like an 80s horror movie score."

Flash forward to 2016, I completely forgot that Kyle made an announcement awhile back that they were working on the soundtrack for this show. Now that I'm finally watching it, the music is just perfect.

Here is a brief article detailing more about the band, their sound, and the process of auditioning to be the series music composers: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/features/stranger-things-survive-talk-their-creepy-nostalgic-score-w431789

Only two episodes in, so I look forward to catching up!

Was anyone else bothered by the fact that Hopper told Brennan where he could find Eleven? I thought he had some trick up his sleeve but he really did give her up that easily.

Unless I missed something? Please tell me I missed something.

On another note, who else found Mr. Clarke completely adorable? chair

STEPPING OUT ON STEPHANIE meowed
I'm so obsessed with this show! I'm just a bit over half way through it.

I can't deal with the actress who plays Nancy's body though- she's clearly underweight and it freaks me out.

Right? As we were finishing up the series last night I turned around to my husband and said "Is it just me or is that chick emaciated?"

Loved this series and hate that I have to wait another year for more. It's one of the very few Neflix series appropriate to watch as a family (my kids are teens).

I was hesitant to watch this bc I don't usually like Sci-fi but I loved this show. I can't believe how unbelievably well all the kids act. I finished last night and feel like I am on a Stranger Things high…telling everybody at work about it.

I thought it was weird Hopper told them where she was too. Unless he figured she could fight him off. I am sad to see her go. I loved that little weirdo. I can't decide if I want them to make another season or not.

Also Steve's Christmas sweater….oh the 80s.
