Um Nope meowed
Sean is thrilled to be down 5 more pounds this week. I think he is becoming anorexic, and somehow I don't believe he eats everything he is photographing. I think he takes the picture, logs the calories, and then throws half of it away. He seems so excited to still be losing. Maybe his true mental goal is to get under 200 (which is crazy, since he has a lot of loose skin he needs removed. He already looks gaunt.)

The fact that he lost so much weight in the past two (?) weeks in "maintenance" is really concerning. Like you I have felt like he's been edging towards anorexia for a while — he's just terrified of food, terrified of eating anything that's outside of his "non-negotiable elements", terrified of eating more than the same two meals over and over again. Maybe you're right and he has been throwing food away because of his anxiety about skipping workouts.

Trying to figure out how it's even remotely sensible for him to go to monthly weigh-ins without changing his caloric intake when he lost five pounds in two weeks and is supposed to be trying to maintain his weight. If anything he should be weighing weekly and adding calories until he finds his true maintenance. BUT OKAY.

Also, yeah. He looks gaunt as f**k.

Finally saw his spot on the Joy Fit Club. It seemed to me like he did an okay job. He was any other guest on the show… a little nervous, a little awkward, and the ladies did most of the talking anyway.

What bothers me is a small thing, in pics while he was prepping to go the airport, he had put in baggies his cut and peeled fruits, with labels with the weight: pic.twitter.com/Aell7a6hU2  Using baggies is not a problem, I wouldn't want orangey-juiced hands on a flight either. But as for the labeling, as far as I know, there is no problem on domestic flights with taking food items aboard, unless something has changed since my last flight a couple of months ago. It's the labels with the weights listed that is a big red flag.  I hope he can turn his mindset around before he slides deep into anorexia.

This is going to sound like the pettiest thing imaginable, but why doesn't he get a decent haircut? His hair looks so terrible always, which is weird for someone trying to advance in the entertainment industry.

He is so obsessed with eating the same safe foods every day. I have severe digestive issues which limit the range of foods I can eat, and even so I have a more varied diet than Sean. I was honestly excited to see him eat a pear for a change instead of the endless apples.

Has anyone ever heard him do comedy? He looks like the least funny person ever.

Uh, I had to dredge this thread up again to point out that since he entered "maintenance" around this time last year Sean has lost another 26lbs, with almost 4lbs in the past month.

He doesn't seem anything but #grateful and #blessed about his consistent "unintentional" weight loss of the past year either.

It looks like he's sticking to eating about 2300 cals/day… which is on the low side, especially if he's 26lbs down in a year!  Eesh, he's not looking healthy. uh

After catching up with his blog, it doesn't seem like he's not getting fit in any way, except for 20 push ups and squats in the morning. No bike riding, or any activity anywhere.

It is easy to see where any of his extra time is going: Wasting an inordinate amount of time on his blog, social media channels, with multiple daily support texts to friends, and then leading weight loss groups twice a week with his "life coach" twice a week. I'm surprised his girlfriend hasn't called him out on any of this.

I don't want to armchair diagnose the guy, but the language he uses ("today I maintained the integrity of my calorie budget" ??!?!?!?!?!) and the focus on water set off my disorder radar big time.  Of course everyone is different, but personally when I struggled with food I also had a "water goal" and meeting it (or the fear of not meeting it) actually caused a lot of stress.

He's terrified of food, hasn't increased his "maintenance budget" despite the fact that he's been consistently losing weight over the past year, hopes to 'accidentally' lose another four or five pounds. He's definitely struggling and he needs to talk to a therapist. I get that when you're formerly obese the fear of regaining is very real, but jesus.

It's been a month and now he admits he wants to see 199 on the scale. Think about it, that is anorexic territory. He hasn't had skin surgery so a man who was his size is packing around 20 or 30 pounds of hanging skin. He is literally going for the skin-and-bones look.

If he's 6'3", then 200 it technically overweight. If he does have 20lbs of extra skin then that weight would be right in the middle of normal. His anxiety over food is certainly something that he might want to work on, but 199 would by no means be underweight.

His post today is off the walls.

I love how he has to feature the coffee mug every day to remind everyone that he was on TV.

Looks like he has another broken up relationship with the Kristen lady (that happened immediately after their trip to NY together).  He was freaking out about food the whole time he was in NY, weighing food in his room instead of going to eat in restaurants because he was too terrified of eating out some of the time.

Anyone else think he's creepily attached to his mother?  (I'm not referring to her recent health crisis, but in general).  I get the feeling that is why he can't have a relationship with another woman – too much attention and doting and talking on and on and on about how much he loves his mother and enjoys being with her.  drool

All around, he has Issues and needs real therapy, not an online "life coach". I'm not sure of the whole story, but I'm pretty sure he grew up without a dad (re-connected later on as an adult), he was bullied through school, and basically his mom and his brother were his only friends. Through it all he used food to cope. His brother passed away and he used food to cope even more. His Mom is obese, his ex-wife is obese, and his daughters.
