But I agree with whoever told you to not say r***** or r*****ed. It's an awful word. And my main question is do you really plan on becoming an actual legal professional? You tell people to block you or unfollow you then you put them on blast.

And I don't care how you feel when you look in the mirror. I get it. As you lose weight, you feel good, even better than you did about yourself than you did before. So feel however you want when you look into the mirror. But how can people your field respect you when you present yourself the way you do on social media? As someone with parents not born in America I couldn't imagine calling them FOBs, especially since they are not "fresh off the boat" and are now US citizens. I wouldn't call anyone a FOB but that is just me.

Do you know anyone with a developmental difference? Would you call them r*****ed to their face?

About 99.5% of the time I am in total agreement with everything I read here on GOMI, but this is one time that I'm in the minority I guess! She's definitely SOMI for me.

I started following her right after her surgery, and I see a chick who is trying to better her health and is having a good time doing it. We can all judge her lifestyle, but in reality I think a lot of it is all in fun. She's over the top and she knows it, but to be totally honest she's someone who I'd probably totally love hanging out with.

I'm not in love with her use of the R word, I don't say it, but I know people who do. Are they horrible people? Absolutely not. Does she need to flaunt her parents spoiling her? Maybe not, but who cares?

Also, I don't think she's super worried about how her social media account(s) may impact her career – anyone who follows her know she's only in law school until she finds rich hubby anyway!!! lollollol

I was kinda nervous to post any support for her because I don't like to be the odd man out, and I've seen what kinds of responses people have gotten when they defend people here. There are just so many people on IG that just annoy the shit out of me for real, and she's not one of them. chair

I actually agree with you Elizabeth. I think she's pretty harmless and funny. Honestly, I don't like the use of the R word because I've seen it used derogatorily against people I know and love who do suffer from disability. I think she probably doesn't know better but hopefully will look into it now that it's been brought up and stop using it.
The response to finding this thread was really hilarious imo. Shes totally in on the joke.

I hope she stops using it too. I'm assuming if she was able to get admitted into law school and wants to be a defender of justice in our country she would know a little bit about social justice. I just don't understand why women pretend to act stupid or ditzy as some sort of comedy act. I don't think she attends a for profit law school. I think she was accepted and is enrolled in a program in hopes of earning her JD. If it doesn't matter to her what her future colleagues think, cool. If it doesn't matter to her what her future (rich, Persian, with a big dick) spouse thinks, okay. If she has a child born with a developmental difference and there is a history of her on the internet using the word r*****ed, her choice I guess. I like most WLS account bc it's good to see what others are going through. What is helping them be successful and what isn't working.

It's great that she doesn't care what other people think, but if she's going to actually be an attorney and not just married rich she better start caring what future employers will think of her Instagram.

Im in my second year of law school. I have 1 year remaining and then I graduate and sit for the bar :) I went to a top 100 university for bachelors and double majored in sociology and political science. I take my schooling very seriously. But Work is work and play is play. People that know me know that my Instagram is 80% for shyts and giggles. Like someone else said, thats the whole point of social media. I dont use my Instagram to flaunt my educational achievements… My Instagram is to motivate others in their weightloss journeys and make them laugh. I hoped that most people could take a joke and realize whats sarcasm and whats serious… But now i'm seeing that maybe they dont confused oh well lol
Thank you all for the sweet comments! Mmmmmuah!

Ehhh, she's a SOMI for me too. I get her humor… although a bit immature, who's it hurting? I don't follow her because, again, her type of humor is different from mine but I get why she has a following. And she's in law school, doing her thing, good for her.

She's also a SOMI for me. In terms of her lawyer career, it's not like she's giving out any information that truly links her to her professional life. To my knowledge, she's never said her full name, where she goes to school, etc.

The only thing she sells on her page is her old clothes, she's not buying followers, and she makes me laugh. In an IG fitspo world where everyone is trying to sell me Beachbody or some other shit, she's a good change of pace.
