Is there really not a thread on this chick yet? I searched and didn't see anything, but hopefully I didn't miss it. new

Her writing is so obnoxious. She's clearly a bleubird wannabe with her bad filters, pictures of nothing, lack of capitalization, weekly photos of her kids, and desperate attempts to make the mundane seem romantic. Her yoda-like sentence structure kills me! Please tell me I'm not alone!

You are not alone!  She annoys me too, but I can't really put my finger on why exactly.  I guess because she just seems like a carbon copy of all the other minimalism style mommy bloggers out there.  It really just seems like she has a pretty boring life and a shitty apartment that she painted all white to make it seem hipper.  (For the record, I have a regular, sometimes boring life and a shitty apartment, too, but I'm not trying to make them into the tweest thing ever on various social media/internet platforms.)

So. They bought this "small" house and she spent sooo many posts gushing about how much she loved it, how "small" is always better, how "small" is what works for them, how they were going to grow there etc,, and a year later they sell it because it is too small? What?

Y'all…this woman drives me to the edge.

I think the most annoying part of it all is the fact that she's "forged a real bond in the IG community"…aka connecting with other mommy bloggers by meeting up for brunch and thrifting in various hipster cities across America…of course, this is all funded by their husbands who are clearly bringing in all the bacon.

One thing that really irked me happened on IG the other day. She posted a mundane picture of her fugly husband and baby, and a user commented with hearts and kiss faces accompanied by some Arabic text. Then one of her stupid "IG BFFs" commented back "what {insert foreign persons username here] said"…then @mamawatters herself and like 10 other women started commenting about it and essentially making fun of this foreign woman who was clearly just expressing her appreciation over the photo. All like virtually high fiving each other like bullies in the middle school cafeteria. Turns out someone translated it and commented "it means may God protect your family"…something obviously sweet. A few minutes later the picture was deleted and reposted. These girls are obviously racist, elitist tool bags. ALSO – I LOVE THAT THIS WAS POSTED BY SELF PROCLAIMED GOD LOVING WOMAN. Amanda also seems to have jumped on the religion band wagon to gain followers. I remember she wasn't religious in the past, but now it seems to align nicely with her new life of insta-fame.

For real though, it must be nice to be 26 (yes she is really that young), have held a job for what, 2-3 years, and then checked out of life completely to pump out babies and take pictures of them, while her husband probably kills himself at work. I'm surprised she hasn't resorted to ads and sponsorships yet. She mentioned something about "expanding her family in the near future" too…LOL

THANK YOU!

On several occasions I've seen her allude to the fact that money is tight with one income and preach that stupid mantra of "living EVER SO SIMPLY in the Midwest" – yet she will post vacations updates every 3-4 months from locations like Mexico, Jamaica, Florida, Nashville, etc.

That whole thing about finding a forever home makes me want to vom as well. Seriously who, at 26, is like I'M DONE, I DON'T EVER WANT TO MOVE AGAIN. MIDWEST FOREVER. Just seems a little sad to me that she's like totally given up, IMO.

You are so right, I hadn't even thought of that. My god, she is my age.

I hadn't looked at her IG/blog since I originally posted this because she's too annoying and not even entertaining enough to hate-read. However, i just clicked over to her IG from a liked photo in my feed… She wrote a whole blog post on the various shades of white that they painted their "homestead" (seriously, is this little house on the prairie?). You are beyond boring, Amanda.

This! Been checking here to see you when you cat ladies would catch on her ridiculousness. I too LOL every time I see the "homestead." She has started # it as well. This you live in a town in the neighborhood. B***h, you do not live on a piece of land. As much as you would like to think so there are no free range chickens and cattle in your backyard. You live in a house. A plain old house. She seems nice enough but I do find it in crazy that she's only 25 years old. I actually was somewhat enjoying her until I read the posts here. Then I realized that she does come across as very ridiculous and tries to turn the mundane into romantic. It's like she's trying to portray a vintage vibe to her entire life that just seems so staged. Discussing baking a pie with your three-year-old? Can we be anymore twee please? My three-year-old just wants to bake monster cupcakes. I also found it so insane that her original "dream house" turned out not be because her husband didn't see it as the same time as her? That smells like trying to cover it up for other reasons. Also, don't read anyone's blogs but I do follow bloggers on IG so I'm wondering. Did she have any sponsored posts? And how long until she gets them? Maybe someone will send her eggs to hatch on her homestead and she can post about wonderful the grass and morning see feel to her feed as she collects eggs and steps in chicken shit…

lol

And twee is the perfect word to describe everything about her. I saw she wrote something about letting her daughter live in sparkly character princess dresses or something. Where are all the photos of that? It obviously doesn't fit the "white on white everything I do is so simple and beautiful" vibe she's going for so it doesn't deserve to get documented. Way too staged.

I also find it odd that despite all the photos she posts, I still have no idea what she looks like. Every photo of her is some weird angle or her face is half cut-off, and she's always making some awkward smirk.

Not trying to WK by any means but I clicked over to see her new house and I kind of find it very cute and charming chair

As for calling it a homestead, that is rather laughable. Wouldn't a homestead have rolling acres around it and not neighbors you can see from your backyard?
