So in her latest video of doing cable kickbacks (finally some isolation work – good job, C!), she mentions starting prep soon and that she is "playing with a few ideas." Pure speculation here, but two possibilities came to mind:
1. She's considering competing in a natural league versus NPC (great idea!)
2. She's considering figure instead of bikini (bad, bad idea.)

I'm sure her ideas are just stupid training garbage that will make minimal difference at this point. Per usual she will probably invest way too much time planning her workouts when it's not necessary.
Her peak week to now comparison was so cute. Gaining 4 lbs on the off season? She needs about 5 of those off seasons. 
You can basically learn everything about being a decent competitor on YouTube these days. Every competitor records the entire process and talks in depth about everything. Apparently she thinks her whackadoodle ideas are better than all of the girls actually placing at shows and earning their pro cards though..?? mixed-smiley-030

If she tried to do figure I'm pretty sure they would face palm and tell her to go home. Her feedback at her last show was literally "you need more muscle mass." And that was bikini. I would lose my shit if she thought she any chance in hell at doing figure. rofllmao

I had a good chuckle over how not blended that protein shake was getting with the blender bottle. 

Also, coffee mixed with a protein shake?  I feel like I would have "pee butt" immediately 

Haha.. I put protein in my coffee every day in replace of creamer. I enjoy it. i have used certain proteins though whereit basically curdles in the coffee (nasty.. PEScience was one of them. SO disgusting) but the protein I have blends really well in it. And it tastes like a dunkacxino. I'm too lazy to cook an actual breakfast in the morning so that and some oatmeal is my favorite.

There's different levels of bodybuilding, they look for different things but the main difference is how much muscle you have and how lean you are.
Won't let me put a picture in (just google image bikini/figure competitor for visual), but bikini is the more feminine look, not as shredded and less muscle. Most good competitors still have a solid muscle base, even in bikini. It takes years for women to put on that amount of muscle, and it's COMPETITION, so people are going to have good physiques.
Figure is quite muscular and lean, then there's physique which is another step up from there.
Then there are drug tested and non tested federations (Feds are the ones who put on the shows). NPC is not drug tested, so competitors are basically free to use whatever PEDs (performance enhancing drugs) they wish. A natural (drug tested) show is going to be… usually not on the same level as those who don't test.
Cristina is more fit for the noodle division right now…. If she did a small drug tested show she might actually place, but she doesn't even compare to the girls doing the NPC non tested bikini shows.

I'm just kind of confused by her constant need to compete. What's the point of taking the exact same package (apart from removing of loose skin) to a show? I know we keep saying it, but why not take a year or two and really work on building a more solid base? Last show she seemed angry she didn't place rolleyes so now she's going to go back and do the exact same thing? Why???

You don't know how strongly I feel this. I just don't get it. Like I am hard core annoyed that she keeps going on like she's made huge improvements and going through another round of cutting will make it even better. There's nothing under there to reveal!
Her 4 lbs gain since last comp is maybe 2 lbs of muscle, which is nothing!! She needs probably 10+ of solid muscle, and she'll have to gain some fat in the process. Women gain muscle extremely slow, even in a surplus and with optimal training. (She barely had either of those the last few months.)
I apologize for sfun_deadhorse so much, but really??? How does she not get it? Does she not care?
Why not wait until she'll actually be some what competitive?? Or does she actually believe she looks really great? Her comparison pic today looked literally no different.
I've been watching Amanda Bucci and some of her friends YouTube more lately, and those girls have MUSCLE! When they do a flexed back pose, they are light years beyond C. C barely has lats, glutes, delts. She's just so damn under developed.
I think it's a "need to feel important" thing. God forbid she be a regular fitness enthusiast who just work on improvement without getting on stage every 6 months.
I'm torn between waiting to see her crash and burn on stage again, and not checking her IG any more. It's the same noodle pics day in and day out. hammer

For some reason she seems to think that removing her excess skin and not improving much else will help her place better than last place? Is she banking on other people who have excess skin to also be competing so she doesn't place last again?

Wow, I'm so bothered by her gym videos this morning – she was recording from inside the locker room. That is wildly inappropriate. She has no boundaries – it's just all about recording every detail of her day.
