There are onions in that dish, so at least Buzz has that over her obnoxious spawn.

And yeah, she's totally a hoarder, albeit an organized one. The 30 years of calendars are probably stacked next to the Reader's Digests 1976-1990, which are down the hall from the room of creepy broken dolls, the Noxzema jar collection, and the stuffed animals that Buzz believes can talk.

I think Kath picked up on that hoarding tendency and applied it towards food – now she hoards all the cake, bread, wine, and nut butters.

Also, I'm sorry, but how do you review a calendar? What are you reviewing – the illustrations? The day of the week that Christmas fell on? What?

How and why the hell does one "review" a 30-year-old calendar?

"Oh look honey, I went to the dentist that Tuesday, and then on Friday we had dinner with the McGiverns!"

Who the f**k cares? My god. Turn on the TV. Read a book. Play Scrabble. GO OUTSIDE. Anything!!!

Maybe Buzz will be able to do a special blog entry revisiting her long-lost menses, as derived from the "review of calendars"? I can't wait!

I guess we can see where Kath gets her strange sense of pride in photographing her boring-ass oatmeal for the last 5 years. These women have a weird obsession with tracking the most mundane.

Agreed. What I don't understand about this is why they don't just keep diaries, or for that matter, blogs that are just journals in the more traditional sense of the word. Why put the focus on boring-ass everyday meals? Or on boring-ass everyday menopause?

Kerf especially seems way OCD about her journaling/blogging. Every single meal every day for five years? And now the same "type" of entry with almost the exact same content on certain scheduled days of the week, every week?

They both scream all sorts of horrible repression, anxiety, and control issues. But they're simultaneously so insufferable that, well . . . popcorn

WTF is this post about mice?  I realize it's a guest post, but did Buzz even read it before she published it?  This woman was unhappy about a mice infestation in her house, so her plan is to incinerate them in her oven, but then she accidentally melts the sonar device that was supposed to scare the mice away?  This is supposed to be a cute story?  I hate rodents, but I would never, ever contemplate burning a living creature to death.

Did anyone read the "mice" post?  It is so strange.  It's a guest post, but the fact that Buzz even published it is a big WTF to me.  Who the hell thinks a good way to get rid of mice is to incinerate them in your oven?  (Don't worry, she failed, but what she thinks is a cute story is just gruesome to me.)  And the comments are strange too.  If this is what menopause does to your brain, I don't want any part of it.

That's it, Buzzard has finally made it onto my Feedly.

This guest-poster's bizarro "concerns" about the mice read like The Yellow Wallpaper, for god's sake. They're mice. They're vermin. They have f**k-all to do with your personal neuroses. CALL AN EXTERMINATOR and stop climbing to dizzying Kerf heights of detrimental CHEAPNESS. It sounds like not only doesn't she want to spend money on an exterminator, but she doesn't run her a/c in 90 degree heat? Jesus christ.

And guys . . . at the end: "Helen Hawes has been a practicing artist since she was six months old, when to her mothers dismay she was creating dramatic wall murals with the overflowing contents of her diapers."

Oh . . . my god. How did this post not strike Buzzard as completely creepy, disgusting, and disturbing?

Just catching up on this thread on the batshit crazy Kerf parent. eek W.T.F. with the calendar?

If I was Buzz, I'd be like yeah, asshole, you "review" the f**king 20 year old calendar over there in the rocking chair. I will be over here watching Breaking Bad and catching up on Dexter.

I'm thinking Kath gets her controlling nature from creepy Cliff with the coiffed hair. Dude. Get rid of the bangs and the bob! uh

Does menopause really make b***hes that crazy?

Do you just completely lose your mind?

I don't want to get old.

My mom didn't go crazy. She cried a lot and had some panic attacks, but she didn't write insane crap about bears or melted machines. She gives me hope.
