I personally don't read a "mocking" tone from Kelle's photos and comments about Poop the Barbie, more of an "overkill" (for me, personally). I am gathering that Nella has a speech delay and basically named the Barbie based on her limited vocabulary. Kelle, in typical predictable Kelle style, has wrapped her red-twee-nailed hands around this in stranglehold style, and just won't let it die. I don't think she is making fun of Nella or her choice of words as much as she is just overblowing the shit out of it. Like it's just so effing darling and quirky and kitschy with an element of "cheap laugh" thrown in there, because poop. It's annoying. No one cares about a run of the mill Barbie doll or what her name is.

I just can't belive how awful LL's dress is for the Nutcracker. She looks like a depressed Pilgrim in orthopedic shoes. I had a similarly cut dress when I was in 3rd grade in 1987, but at least mine was pink! I wore it on my very first plane ride. I can't imagine a 8 year old today would want to wear that dress - even in pink.

I have no idea how Kelle wrestles LL and N into those outfits. My almost 4 year old daughter is very opiniated about clothes and there is no way I could get her into those outfits. This weekend she was dressed as either Elsa or Izzy (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates) 80% of the time. Does Kelle have epic battles over getting dressed every  monring, or are N and LL the most compliant children ever?

Oh yay a new thread! Finally I feel like I can maybe "catch up" on Kelle. Haven't lurked around her for a while because she makes me too annoyed / the previous thread was so monster.

Also if anyone feels like checking out an up-and-coming blonde Kelle wannabe – Grace from Camp Patton is becoming more and more Kelle-like with each passing day.

RIP previous thread. Was looking forward to the 4000 page mark.

Re: Grace- I saw that she had commented on one of Kelle's IG photos "Wow, cool!" or something like that and then me: puke
well, maybe she's jumped the shark and is now a GOMI instead of a SOMI.

Thanks for starting the new thread UW!

I get what you are saying, and I agree. I don't think she is mocking her per say, but I do think that Kelle is totally oblivious as to why it could be conceived as mocking, due to Nella's speech delay.

In other news, Kelle= boring

I think LL's spirit was broken long ago. That's what happens when you have a mother like Kelle.

How do you know when you have posted? Just tried again and it disappeared again. So the thread or the site is still broken. After posting, all I get is a white screen, so there is no way to tell if I was successful, which I was not.

Happy to see people posting again and the lurkers coming out of the basement shadows. Welcome! oregonian_winesmiley

My question was, did Kelle use a DSLR to get that Poop bomb photo? Maybe it was an iPhone. Not sure if you can get the blurred foreground like that on a phone.

Please post.

I personally think lots of browbeating and bribing goes on. Kelle has talked openly about how she bribes her kids to do certain things (I remember an IG a while back about braiding Lainey's hair) and I think it mostly relates to dressing them up. They usually look miserable in photos so it would not surprise me if they're fighting over clothing choices. Kelle's friend Bootifulcecil posted some pics from the Nutcracker on her IG and in one picture Lainey is wearing black tights and in the next picture she's wearing black socks. It's obvious Kelle's sad 80s clothes are NOT Lainey's first choice… if she even has a choice at all. For all Kelle's talk about fostering creativity and individualism in that house, it's clear that she only means for her, not Lainey.

Sounds like Kelle gifted the 4th ticket to bootifulcecil. And she took this picture of Lainey. You know Mahm could never get a joyful frontal pic of her like this!

Regretting the departure of the 3,795 pages, from which I learned as much about myself and my upbringing as about anything else, thanks, people.

I'm glad to see the Thread Part II.

Does anyone else notice that there have been no clear photos of Nella's poor right cheek since Thanksgiving? I hope she's alright.

At least LL has plenty of photographic evidence of Mahm's ways to show her therapist in the future.

Also sad to not see the previous thread go to 4k pages but, then again, we might have broken the internetz on that day!! drinkoregonian_winesmileydrinking-10drunk

My daughter is in a production of The Nutcracker this year, but in years past when we have gone to see it, she has always worn fun, girly party dresses and sweaters to the event.  Pink, or Christmasy colors, definitely sequins and glitter, etc.  All the little girls around us would be wearing the same thing.  I cannot even fathom seeing a little girl dressed like Kelle dressed Lainey. It's so depressing and pretty much the opposite of what a Nutcracker experience should be!

And No Socks, my youngest switched from Elsa to Olaf this week, LOL.  She's wearing a white shirt and white shorts and is dancing around shouting, "It's summer!" Haha.
