I've never read her blog, but I have a friend that used to like every single FB post, so I've seen a lot of this unfold.

From the very start, something about them has triggered my scam-o-meter (or at the very least, my attention-w***e meter).

It just all seems so staged. Every thing so photographed. So staged. So planned to go viral.

And her so made up all the timeuh Even in her hospital bed a day before they took the babies, she's in full on make-up (which for her is FULL ON), hair blown out and cute clothes. WTF? My BFF was in the hospital for four weeks prior to the birth of her daughter and that scenario is not pretty and she was only pregnant with one. When you lay on your butt for four weeks straight, you get all kinds of rashes, yeasts, things that go when they shouldn't and things that don't go when they should and it just generally sucks ass. Sure, maybe that made her feel better, blah, blah but for me, it points to a level of vanity or try-hard that makes me uncomfortable with them.

I'm sure they will get a TV show with TLC. Just one moe thing on TV I will never, ever watch. drool

YES.

I've been waiting for this thread since before the babies were even born; they're insufferable, IMO. I gave them a pass at first – I'd want to gush after trying for kids for eight years too! – but the shilling is lame. The meet-and-greet for the kids pushed me over the edge.

It annoys me how she's always pairing off the identical twins. Might just be me. Another annoyance was her posts about how she whined about the oxygen tubes, because it mainly centered around pictures. drool

When the babies were still in the NICU, they announced they'd already filmed a little bit for TLC.

If you go to the "videos" section on her blog, there are some real gems.

One is about the infertility troubles she's gone through, and she has pictures (selfies) of herself getting daily shots and her face is all twisted because she's in pain.. why post those? Why take them in the first place!? Also, the default picture on that video is of them both crying. Sigh.

What an attention wh*re. What I don't get is how she happened to land this perfect opportunity to satisfy that attention need.. so convenient, so #blessed.

Oh, I'm so very glad to have you sane people around! I also have a couple FB friends who like and share from their page and I've been feeling like a terrible person for giving them major side eye. Attention w***e is exactly what I've been thinking. And yes, OMG, the meet and greet! Hello, Dionne quints on display. rolleyes

Haaa, I could only make it through half of the video (the dramatic music was just ~*too intense*~ for me, obviously), but I totally laughed out loud. I can't imagine ever being like, "This is so painful, wait, someone take a crinklefaced photo of my pain to document it!"

Good grief. The eye makeup alone is enough to make me side eye her.

There is major snark about them in the triplet+ mom communities. Apparently her father is CEO of a media company. The viral nature of everything they do was orchestrated from the beginning, before they even conceived. They also crowdfunded their IVF just after filing bankruptcy and discharging $60k in credit card debt, then solicited gifts and money to their PO box through the entire pregnancy.

I can't stand them.

My MIL did this when my baby was in the NICU. Really b***h??..it infuriated me!!shutupsigh

I am happy that they finally became parents of healthy babies but after reading about them filing bankruptcy and  then crowd funding No ahh Hell NO! Bet a lot of that debt was for makeup. lmao

She just seems like she wanted to be the next TLC train wreck. shutup

Yep, she posted a picture of it to her FB. Ugh. I've heard of people crowdfunding IVF's and that sort of stuff before, and it always makes me uncomfortable. It just seems like such a private thing in the first place and then to ask people for money for it? I could never do that. She also mentioned in her nursery tour video that her family is LDS, and they live in Utah, so…
With this info, I'm surprised their names aren't McKynleigh, McBrynzley, etc.
The fact that she started her FB page and blog when the babies weren't even a week old just goes to show that she's looking for a TV station to pick up her story (which they did) and that she's shilling the poor girls.

Man I am glad to see them here.  I find them annoying and very pretentious.  I also get a strong feeling of the mom, especially, treating the babies more like cute dolls and props than her children.  I also fail to see how she can spend so much time on social media (and in front of a makeup mirror) when she has 4 babies to look after.  This whole pregnancy was neatly packaged for the media too.  For the love of God take those damn headbands and bows off those poor kids!  Having said all that,  the babies are absolutely adorable and precious!

THIS!   It made me ragey!  She came off as an ungrateful b***h.  Damn,  how many people would be thankful to have healthy babies even if they did need a little O2.  I wanted to reach through the screen and smack her.  I hope that she just came off snotty about it and didn't feel it, but I am afraid she did because she would always finish the b***h fest with some version of "but of course if they need it then we are happy they have it".   In my opinion, she was pissed that her children weren't "perfect" enough with the O2 and cardiac monitors.

They got TLC to pay for a vehicle that would hold all of them.dead

I had to register for this forum when I saw this. I too saw this couple on FB and thought they were cute, it was a good story, all that. I was turned off by all the fundraising, but in general they didn't bug me too much until the babies were born. They're just way over the top. I'm sick of her hooker makeup, and just the vibe I get that she's super fake or just doesn't get it.

They must have a ton of help. I have two kids and don't get "date nights" once a month, let alone every week. And I did a double take when I saw the post about their new Etsy shop, since "Mommy" will be staying home and will have time on her hands. Say what? You have FOUR NEWBORNS. How do you have any realistic expectation of getting free time? All the blog posts, meet and greets (?), and all that just make it obvious they are making this their meal ticket. It's all very attention-grabby and off putting.

clapclapclap

I was thinking the SAME thing. I have two elementary-aged children and a pretty decently profitable Etsy shop. I sell supplies- I do not have to make anything- though I used to sell a product I had to MAKE and it nearly killed me.

How in the hell would she have time to make everything, plus answer the convos (from all the fan girls), take pictures, write listings….SHIP?

She must have crowdsourced a whole lot of free help.

I'm assuming, from the viral photos, the make up, the website, the shop…her goal is fame? Fortune?
