Where can one find the triplet community discussion about this family?

And why is no one discussing their crowd funding and bankruptcy irl?

This is destined to go badly.

I guess I'm torn. I like her and follow her facebook feed. A few things have caused me to give her the side-eye. I question her special snowflake status that she needs to wisk her babies in through the back door into the doctor for their appointments and make him and his staff work through their lunch? Every other parent of a preemie that I know of has one parent in the waiting room, leaving the baby with the other parent in the car and then you can just wisk them in directly when they are called. Might have to go back and forth a few times with multiples however. Heck you can cover them with one of those car seat covers for an extra-germ free experience. I hope it was the doctors/staff idea to bring her in through the back because if its something she insisted on then that just says more about her.

I also sincerely question her infertility timeline. I guess this resonates with me because we are also Mormon (currently going a certain amount of faith crisis) and we suffered through infertility for many years. We started TTC our first in 2003, adopted our infant daughter in 2007 and finally got pregnant/delivered in 2010. We've had a second biological child since then for three kids total. The Gardners like to state that they've been TTC for eight years but she was 27 when she had the babies and married young at 19. So did she start charting her cycle the first month they were married at age 19? Granted growing up in the faith we tend to marry young but even marrying at age 19 will make most Mormons cringe a bit. I just don't buy for a minute that they started actively trying to get pregnant when she was 19. I think that they perhaps decided not to use birth control but weren't actively TTC and then started getting concerned when a few years had passed and she wasn't getting pregnant. She had done several IUI's and moved onto IVF which worked the first time. Similar to us, we did a few IUI's but chose adoption instead of IVF because oddly at the time it was less expensive to adopt an infant through our church's agency than it was to spend $15-30K on IVF treatments.

I have to admit that I was kind of fascinated/intrigued/horrified by her registry. No wonder they have had to previously file for bankruptcy!!! I donated her a Britax car seat from her registry. I never did receive a thank you but I'll give her a pass since bed rest and four babies. We no longer pay tithing to our church, so it was coming out of our "tithing fund" that we like to help strangers with if we see a need. But don't complain about finances and all of the bazillion things you need to buy for quads and then register for $40 baby outfits. Boggles my mind. Maybe that's more of a first time mom thing? Sure maybe a dress for a toddler or something, but a $40 footie romper that they will wear for three months?

Also, bringing along a photographer when you are finding out if you are pregnant or not is just kind of weird. We live about an half hour north of her and most of the clinics here when I look had about an overall 40% success to 60% failure rate. Maybe it was just her friend that is a decent photographer because that seems awfully strange to hire a photographer when you have that kind of odds of a single cycle failing. I have a theory that since they were going to jump to adoption if the results were negative they were trying to fit in every photo opportunity. But still seems just odd to me. I know when we started the adoption process we started taking a lot more photos of us doing random ridiculous stuff… cue taking pictures of ourselves when we were painting the house.

Oooooo also interested in the triplet community discussion if anyone can copy and paste…

I can actually see why she'd have a photographer there for the pregnancy test reveal. I mean, I never would, but clearly she is someone who likes photos. The chances of IVF working are far far higher than IUI, so it was probably the first time she felt like there was really hope that things would turn out.

The triplet community discussion is in the Moms of Triplets facebook group, though I am sure there is plenty elsewhere as well. Unfortunately you have to have triplets to be in the group, so if you don't, then get started! The best way is to crowdfund an IVF and call every news outlet the second you finish your first ultrasound.

Having a daddy who is a media expert and has some kind of media company certainly helps.  This couple just grate and reek of insincerity and self-importance.   Her latest blog entry has a link to buy those dumbass bows on Amazon.  If there is a link on her blog, is she getting money when people use it?  She doesn't disclose if she is.

I had never heard of them before this thread. I did go and do some reading and yeah, seems all a little try-hard for me. Definitely gunning for some fame and fortune. I guess I don't know how that will work though. Does anyone in these days of IVF and such really get excited over litters of babies? Especially smaller ones. I mean Kate and Octomom kind of have her beat, and look how well that turned out for them.

Even with help for the babies, I don't get how she has time to spackle on that face, though.

The meet 'n' greet was today.. I thought it was kind of weird that she went to a walk for infertility (that's what it was, right?) with her four, brand spanking new babies.. I know she struggled with it, but to rub her success in the faces of the women who are now, that's rude. Also to tell them "see! It gets better!" well, not always. Just because her IVF worked and God *blessed* her, doesn't mean it'll turn out that way for everyone else.

Also, her contour job in the picture she posted today on FB.. yikes. uh

Those types of walks are generally open to kids, AFAIK. My clinic is sponsoring something similar next weekend and there's a "family fun run" component. Where you really shouldn't bring babies/kids is to the clinic itself.

I have no doubt you are correct about her attitude, though. :)

Which pic?

Yes, I agree that she seems to have an very nasty "in your face" attitude about "supporting infertility".  There just doesn't seem to be any depth or sincerity in this woman.

She took it down!
It was another car selfie saying they were on their way to meet everyone and the bronzer she used was way too dark for her skin tone.. not sure why she took it down though. Maybe she realized?

And to the other poster above, thanks for shedding some light on the situation! I do wonder how she acted with the women who came to see her..

She has taken out a lot of pics recently.  Wonder if she found GOMI?  Cause she is usually super proud of that spackle job on her face.

Hahn so glad to see this thread! Some days I can't even deal with seeing the FB posts. It's great they ended up with their babies after a long time of infertility but every time I see them I'm like wtf? How does she manage to look like she does with the hair and the makeup and the posed, staged pictures? My best friend has year-old twins and its been a rough first year for her. She only has half the amount of kids and never found time to do photo shoots, outfit changes for the babies just for the hell of it, hair, full makeup, etc. We discuss this mom periodically so one day at work I screen-shot a picture of the mom and said "this woman has four babies and probably no sleep and look how she looks." Then followed that up with a selfie of my face and said "zero kids and 8 hrs sleep and I look like shit!" And I'm the type who barely ever leaves the house without make-up!

Well your friend (and other normal people) are not "Fame-hungry" driven. She wants the show, the recognition, and the $$$$$$.
