Maybe it is just me but I often times find myself unsatisfied with LBG blog posts. She definitely peaked around her kid's first birthday party and it has been downhill ever since. I feel like I'm always left wondering why the f*ck I just wasted twenty seconds of my life reading that useless post. Perhaps with baby 2, it will pick up again but I doubt it. All it will be is that stupidly overused "maternity" survey all the bloggers use. Like a give a f*ck if your wedding ring still fits.

And baby 2 wearing hand-me-downs??? bahahahahahaha yeaaaah right. good try!!

I'm pretty sure the people at Gap.com were like, " F*CK YEAH SHE'S KNOCKED UP AGAIN!"

I'm new to the blog game, but is it normal for them to announce pregnancies before the end of the 1st trimester?

Also…any bets on when this Mandy chick is going to get knocked up, too?

Bloggers tend to announce before the stick is even dry. Gotta get those pageview$. Of course normal people know that you probably shouldn't be announcing at 5 weeks.

Mandy from HelloJaxon is a weirdo. Does she not know that's her stalking is super noticeable or…?

You guys.  I used to read Spearmint Baby when I was pregnant and Mandy was featured on the website for her "famous chalkboards."  In the post where she was featured, she never mentioned LBG even though she was clearly ripping off Jessica's chalkboards, all the way down to matching designs for each milestone. IIRC, there was a BUNCH of backlash in the comments and she ended up having to backpedal and apologize to Jessica.   http://www.spearmintbaby.com/2012/07/boy-or-girl/

Looking at the post now, it looks like the comments were scrubbed (or they were posted on her original blog which has now been deleted).  I remember Jessica even responded at one point saying she wished she would have been credited–she handled it really well.  Anyway, all that to say that this Mandy girl has no original ideas of her own.  It's kind of sad, really–I don't think she knows what her own tastes are at all, she just copies Jessica on EVERYTHING.

Shit sorry, I just posted without seeing this.  I'll head over that way for future HJ chatter!

LBG is the only one I have known to fess up before the first trimester. I have never believed in waiting until you are past the first trimester to tell people. #1- I have no patience or ability to keep things quiet #2- Something (God forbid) could go wrong whether or not you wait until the second trimester. Especially since they had an US and heard the heartbeat.

anyone else thinks she reads GOMI? She was mentioned in another thread once when we were talking about all the crap she used to feed Harper (hello, pile of donuts for your first birthday?) and the next day she had a post up saying "we don't REALLY feed her all this bad stuff… look at this plate of fruit!".

Then I just mentioned how there was no way this second kid would be in hand-me-downs and then she mentions how she can't wait to dress the new one in Harper's old clothes (which none of us really believe anyway).

So you've never had a miscarriage, then.  Never had to untell your ecstatic parents, grandparents, and siblings?  Good for you!

PS: babies die after a h/b is detected, quite frequently if the pregnancy is earlier than 12 weeks.  FYI.

Anyway.  That ripper-offer is some CRAY.  If she turns up pregnant in the next few weeks, I'd GOMI forever and move to an undisclosed location if I were LBG.  chair

Unfortunately, I did have to deliver my babe at 23 weeks and he was stillborn. I have also had miscarriages at 9 & 11 weeks. I get the idea around waiting to tell people…I stated that I never believed in it.

I know babies die after a heartbeat is detected. I did not specify that because they heard a heartbeat and had an ultrasound that they were in the clear and they weren't going to have a single issue now.

After the heartbeat is detected the risk significantly drops and even beyond the first trimester a whole slew of shit can go wrong. For me personally, keeping the loss between my husband and I was just as hard as ''untelling''.

There's a good chance I guess…I rarely believe in coincidences.

Plus, seeing as she sold a bunch of "Harp-dogs" (Are you f**king kidding me?) in IG already, I would really hate to see how much shit is left (okay so I actually would really want to see it)

I hope its a boy so she can boost the economy with her clothing purchases.

I don't think we have to worry about her not shopping either way. Someone's gotta keep baby gap in business.

I feel the same way about keeping the loss between my husband and I. Pretending things are okay, when my heart was breaking really killed me.

I am so sorry for your losses.
