Alex used to be my favorite, but I'm finding myself more and more disappointed with her blog. Seriously, everything is a random sponsored post with some random brand.

Like her birthday post? Who the hells sponsors a "reflective" birthday post… and now Thanksgiving.

Just seems really shady. Grasping at the straws and since she made it big and stopped paying for things herself I've stopped reading. Turned into a snoozefest whereas before I used to love her!

I never liked her, stopped reading after the first year. Upper middle class white girl goes to Thailand/Vegas/Bahamas? boring Her blog always seemed like an excuse to post excessive photos of herself (usually in bikinis) with no actual useful content, because it's all sponsored. it's like the blog equivalent of watching mtv's spring break.

I really want to like her. I just feel like her material is confused. Like does a blog that targets backpacking twenty something's need this much coverage of Marthas vineyard?

On a personal note, I'm also a bit jealous. Like the majority of her friends seem like they either backpack or have entry level jobs. How are they constantly flying all over the world to visit her?? Who has friends with that much free time and disposable income??

I miss her backpacking days. Now everything is so polished and sponsored and so much whining about working while traveling. I dislike when travel bloggers whine about this for obvious reasons.
