I'm surprised this hasn't been added.
I listen to a few shows on this network:
The Adam Carolla Show
For Crying Out Loud
The Adam and Drew Show
Resume
Ace on the House

I used to listen to Alison Rosen is your new best Friend before the whole controversial firing happened chair

Anyone else?

I love Dr. Drew's podcast.  He always has great guests.  Occasionally listen to Adam and Dr. Drew.  I'll have to check out some of the others on Carolla Digital.

AC is the first podcast I listened to and still one of my favorites. For some reason, even though I disagree with him about a lot of things, he makes me laugh and I don't get tired of listening to his nasally voice. Kind of have a crush. Love that they have a new ep every day too. My other two favorites from Carolla Digital are For Crying Out Loud and Reasonable Doubt. I haven't tried Resume yet.
I used to LOVE Alison, and was so sad when that all went down, and at first hated Gina, but she has grown on me. I tried listening to Alison's show, but can't get into it. She's almost too self-deprecating as the lead. Gina is so different in her confidence, which annoyed me at first, but now I kind of admire that

I definitely do not agree with him a lot, but for some reason he is entertaining. I don't listen to him everyday, but my husband does so I listen to him quite a bit by proxy.

When we go on road trips my husband will save Adam and Dr. Drew episodes (oddly sweet of him) and we will listen to them together. I love the conversations that come up between the two of us as a result of those episodes.

I want to start Reasonable Doubt- especially since I heard they were going to do an episode or two on Making a Murderer.

I also listen to For Crying Out Loud. I have an 8 month old, so it is interesting to hear about parenting struggles of older kids. I really like Lynette and Stephanie together, and even though sometimes Stephanie gets on my nerves I still feel like I am just listening to friends talk.

Finally, I would say to give Alison a second chance. Particularly her Thursday shows- she isn't so much a lead there and they are really great episodes.

Side note- does anyone remember this summer when the Sam and Nia thing came out and Stephanie from FCOL was talking about it and she referenced reading about it on GOMI?

Yes! I was really excited when Stephanie mentioned GOMI. I wish she would talk about it more. Lah Lee Smith from the My Three Angles blog commented on her FB page recently, so I was hoping she'd talk about that, but she didn't even reply to the post.

I don't even have kids, but still find FCOL interesting. I'm hoping the BH Housewives talk dies down, and I generally don't like when they talk about TV shows because I've rarely watched what they're watching, but I love when they talk more about parenting and conflicts and issues that come up between other parents and problem kids. I agree it's just like listening to friends talk. If I ever met them in person, I feel like I'd be the weird fan who acted like I was best friends with them even though they don't know me. One thing that bugs me is they're always saying to interact with them on FB, and I've PM'd them a few times, usually to suggest something or alert them of some media that's relevant to something they talked about, and they never write back. I know they're busy but it leaves me with a feeling like they don't really mean it, and are a little too good to write back to non-important people.

Stephanie gets on my nerves a little bit too…can't describe what it is that bugs me. It's like her voice is too perfect radio-voice. But I've gotten used to it. I love Lynette with all her ditziness and crazy voice. Actually I was suspicious this thread was started by Stephanie with the gummy bear name. chin

What do you think of Gina?

Okay, I will try Alison's Thurs. ep. Thanks for the rec. Definitely try Reasonable Doubt! I've started liking it almost more than ACS. They always talk about interesting cases in the news, and it's amazing how many Mark Geragos has been involved in.

ETA: Just remembered Hammer and Nails. Has anyone listened to that? I love Skip and Allison when they're on ACS, but I listened to the first few eps of their show and didn't like it. Allison was too amped up and it just didn't hold my interest. Maybe they'll get their groove though, so I'll probably give it another chance. I want to hear stories about her probation officer job.

Ha ha Wheaty Shackles….Im not Stephanie but I needed a GOMI name and I had just listened to their podcast and boom.

I really want to listen to Reasonable Doubt ,escpeically the Making a Murder episode. Mark Gerigos (spelling) is so fascinating. I feel like I should dislike him because of who his clients are…but ehhh….he seems like a nice guy.

Ha ha! Okay I believe you.

I like Mark Geragos too. He makes so much sense all the time.

I didn't even realize Organic Gummy Bears started this thread, I am not very observant I guess!

I just put Reasonable Doubt into the lineup.

I have warmed up to Gina. At first I did not like her at all, but I think that was because of the controversy surrounding Alison's firing and the fact I listen to her podcast and am a big fan. But I didn't like Alison when she replaced Teresa either. I don't mind Gina now and actually like some of her input, but again, I don't listen to Adam as much besides when I am in the car with my husband.

Allison (Hammer and Nails) bugged me so much when she was on FCOL that I couldn't bring myself to listen to her and Skip's podcast. I agreed with Stephanie (FCOL) when she mentioned that things in Skip and Allison's relationship could not possibly be that perfect. My husband mentioned that Allison gives her husband a back rub every morning and every night after he heard it on Adam Carolla and I could not roll my eyes hard enough. But that is because he was bringing it up in a- hey here's an idea- way and I don't have time for that.

Love me some ACS, also love FCOL but there are times where Stefanie just comes across as so resentful and, frankly, jealous. But she got me into Watch What Crappens so I'll give her credit where due!

That's so funny! Adam was always complaining about that too, and trying to make Lynette do more stuff like that, which cracked me up. I agree…wonder about their relationship. I liked the story of how they got together. I wouldn't mind having a guy who looks like Skip wait on me at Home Depot. I wish Allison didn't have to look so plastic/glam. It's a bit much, but I guess it's working for her.

Used to LOVE Teresa, and was devastated when she left. Alison was my favorite by far to replace her, but I guess Adam really does carry the show, because it's been fine with Gina.

The whole blowout with Alison was so shocking. I just had no idea it was coming, like everyone else, and it was such a rollercoaster of emotions. At first I was livid at Adam, and totally on Alison's team, but after hearing his side of it, unless he was lying, he did have some valid reasons, and I was disappointed a little more with Alison, and then felt bad for that because I love her. I did always wonder why she stopped doing her book on being pregnant. That was so great.

I thought I hated Teresa (I found her annoying in the terrestrial days) but when she guested the Phoenix live podcast, I didn't stop laughing. She was so good! Alison's still my favorite "News Jew" (Teresa-ism) wink

When Alison was the news girl she didn't bring much to the show. She had a few occasion jokes but couldn't seem to keep up with the speed of Adam crazy thoughts. I actually really liked Alison and was completely shocked when she got fired. Of course when Gina started it was different and took me a while to get used to the change but now the show is better than before. I think Bald Bryan got nervous and took those comedy classes as job security…ha ha. He cracks me up though.

Sometimes I wonder if Alison secretly still listens to the show and feels shitty at how awesome Gina is. All her crazy one upper stories, the fact that shes super smart and how everyone mentions how pretty she is. The girl seems to see every movie, read every book, been to super crazy parties. Sometimes its like alright I get it! drool Alright maybe Im a little jealous…chair

On Alison's NYE podcast, it sounded like she is in a much happier place than she was at Carolla Digital. I don't think she would be jealous of Gina. Her show really took off this year after she got fired and now she is a great podcaster in her own right. I think when Adam said she wasn't sidekick material, he was right. She does much better as the host.

Just by being a casual listener, it seems like her podcast is making more money than it was when she was on the ACE Network. Getting fired and the controversy surrounding her departure was probably the best thing that happened to her.
