Does anyone listen to this podcast? I'm a member of The Lady Gang secret FB group (also – how awesome is THAT podcast???) and someone mentioned finding this one on iTunes!
I just got HBO this year so it gives me the excuse to start re-watching SATC from the beginning WITH all of the cussing and nudity, etc…..omg I've only ever seen the TV re-runs and WOW the HBO version is blowing my mind.
Anyway, I'm only about 5 episodes into the podcast and so far I do genuinely like it….I hope it doesn't take a turn for the worst…I think they're at about 45 episodes already….

Glad you mentioned this, I need something to fill the gilmore guys gap. I'm enjoying it! I find the woman annoying and domineering though. She talks more than anyone else yet is less interesting and funny than the co-host/guests.

I just recently found this podcast via the (now defunct) Facebook group for B***h Sesh! I'm currently listening to episode 19 at my desk, so I think it's safe to say that I like it – but I, too, find Kat quite annoying. I really like her cohost (though I thought he was gay but apparently they're married to each other?!), and most of their guests – but she is grating. Part of what bugs me is she seems to be a one-upper when it comes to quoting the show… Like one of the other guys will quote an episode, and she'll either correct a tiny, inconsequential word choice (like the word actually used in the episode is "pasta" but the cohost said "spaghetti" instead) – or she'll add onto the quote to show that SHE knows the episode best and is the biggest fan of the show. rolleyes I like her more as the show goes on, but I think I roll my eyes at her at least once every episode.

But anyway – overall I like it. It's pretty funny, and provides an interesting analysis for the episodes!

I can't believe you hadn't seen the HBO version until now, BURGER! eek The edited versions don't even compare!

I'm on episode 4 and it's a fun listen. I'm hardly an old (I'm 35) but I'm a good 10 years older than them, and listening to them talk about the late 90s (again, I was in high school, so not an adult) is a mix of amusing and irritating (omg I do not even know how beepers work! payphones! etc)

Thanks for the suggestion, Berger!

^ Actually, I think Kat and Alec are my age, which is 32. (I seem to remember them mentioning graduating high school in '02-03.) I think the guest who didn't know how beepers work was a little younger, though… But still, wtf. I never had a pager, but I understand how they worked! I also definitely remember using payphones, even into early high school! lmao

Thanks for creating this thread, I checked out when I saw it! I like the podcast a lot (currently on ep. 5) but I agree that Kat can be very annoying. Always interrupting and trying to one up the other host/guest. Calm down, lady.

I never actually watched the show in its entirety, but I'm still enjoying the podcast.

I'm only on the third episode but their guest host, Matt (I think?) is gay. Maybe that's who you're thinking of?

I tried, but I can't. Kat is way too distracting with her need to be the most clever. Honestly, all hosts/guests involved think they are more clever than they actually are. Such a disappointing 'tribute' to my beloved SATC.

You are correct – Matt is gay. But I meant the actual co-host, Alec. I'm now 20-something episodes in, and eventually a guest mentions that Kat and Alec are a couple. I don't know if they were intentionally keeping it a secret, but I don't think they ever mentioned it many episodes in… I only knew because I read it in an article about the podcast.

Oh I remember them discussing it pretty early on (I'm halfway through listening to season 2).

I want to love this and I listen to it while cleaning/ doing mindless stuff, but I wish they'd just discuss SATC. I don't GAF about their "sex secrets" or the insider stuff about "the industry" in  OMG-LA. STICK. TO. THE. SHOW. sfun_blahblahsfun_blahblah
