- When I'm getting ready for work in the morning
- While I'm commuting (walking/subway)
- While I cook and do the dishes
- When I go for walks instead of runs (when I run/work out, I need music, but I like podcasts when I walk)
- When I'm falling asleep—I'll put a timer on so they don't just keep playing, but certain ones are really good to fall asleep to. In particular, I find Jen Kirkman's voice very soothing.
I live alone so I don't have to worry about bothering anyone while I listen at home.

I listen while getting ready in the morning, when I go on my walk in the afternoon/evening, and around the house at night. Getting a pair of bluetooth headphones was really upped my podcast listening game, it's nice that I can sort of wander around the house while cooking and cleaning and not feel overly tethered.
Honestly I'm worried about my podcast listening when I move in with the mancat in a few months (we've been long distance for the last year) because I've gotten so used to having a lot of time to myself to listen to podcasts, and when we are together I get so behind.

-In the car, on my commute to work
-At the gym
-While doing housework in the evening and on weekends
-Sometimes in bed at night
September 4, 2014
In the car on my commute to and from work. I have a really long commute so podcasts keep me sane. I also listen when I go for walks or do the elliptical at the gym.

Repeating what many have already said – on my drive to and from work, while doing chores (it sure does make vacuuming and folding laundry SO much more tolerable), grocery shopping, and when I'm getting ready in the morning.
September 18, 2014
On my drive to and from work, and during my morning runs. I also listen to them if I'm alone in the house doing housework, and recently while I was lying by the pool on a cruise.

Whenever I'd have listened to the radio, I now listen to podcasts (and have been for several years). I listen to them while I'm getting ready in the morning, whenever i'm in the car, or if I'm cooking (which isn't too often!).
I love good podcasts.
July 18, 2014
Usually when I walk my dogs, fold laundry/iron, and trying to unwind enough to fall asleep. I'd like to figure out a way to listen when I'm driving without murdering my phone's battery.

Morning run and afternoon walk.
My husband loves to listen to them all day everyday, but I have a hard time focusing on the story if I'm cooking or cleaning up or whatever. A few weeks ago I was home alone painting and I did binge listen to some, but the key for me is to be alone while listening I think.

All day long at work. My co-workers chat about useless crap all day and I need to drown them out. I don't listen to music so podcasts all day, everyday. I nearly off myself if I have no good ones left and I have to hear them witter on for hours.

I listen on double speed during my runs. I also put my phone in a coffee mug to amplify the speakers and stick it on the ledge of my tub while I'm showering.
May 27, 2016
I listen on my long runs and when I'm trying to fall asleep.
For shorter runs I listen to music that pumps me up but when I'm going for more than 3 miles I just need something distracting that can keep me engaged for a while.
