Jaysus Christ, it's about time someone brought this woman to this forum.  She's the biggest AW I've ever seen (and have had the "luck" to meet in person).  She posts shit on her blog within seconds of hearing a rumor, or seeing a press release.

That event that she went to in Florida (Disney Social Media Moms Celebration) where she posted all of her outfits was incredible, mainly because she had a nice case of pink eye.  And blogged about that. As you do.

GOMI doesn't want to quote but "We could start a thread just on runDisney and their Legion of Devoted Followers."

She would be a better fit there, does she even run any more? There are ton of GOMI worthy Disney bloggers.

Define "running" with her.

With Patty, it's all about the costume.  Not how well you run.

Part of my issue is that I can't bring myself to read her.  Or Sassy, for that matter.

She's such an annoying self-promoter that I can't take it.  Disney really used to cater to bloggers and it created this ridiculous group of people who will blog about anything runDisney says, in hopes of getting their attention.  I can only hope the runDisney staffers are just laughing at them.

I agree. I don't understand what she thinks that it's going to bring her? Her blog (as well as Sassy's) have no direction or content, nor are they experts in anything. They just throw out headlines and hope they stick. So it's getting them pageviews? So what? I just can't wrap my head around these bloggers who have no direction in life.

I don't really mind the random blogs out there.  It gets boring to write about the same thing all the time. I even cancelled my Runner's World Magazine subscription because they basically recycle articles.  I read blogs to get to know about people, so if one day it's about running, the next day it's about work, the next about someplace they went with their kids, I'm good with that.

What I'm not good with are the constant sponsored posts and the attitude that just because someone wants to read the minutia of your life, you think you're a celebrity.  These Disney bloggers take it to a new level because they're deluded enough to think they're somehow in the know about things.

Thank you HLP, you explained it much better than I did. These bloggers think that their lives are amazing and that everyone should fawn over them. I do think that some of their content is solely based on trying to get more pageviews too. Then it becomes a vicious cycle.

Her sponsored Cigna post today just proves unfortunately she's in deep with rDisney.   She's participating in  Healthy Eating seminar is such a JOKE.  It's obvious that she  is NOT a healthy eater.

This woman really gets under my skin.

Honey, you know this girl gets her own thread. They need a Disney bloggers sub category! We can then move this thread there.

She seems to have nothing to do except monitor Disney feeds. It's really kind of amazing. How can a woman with…what…four kids?  Have nothing to do except stay glued to the internet?  Patty is another one of these spoiled, overprivleged non-working mothers who see social media as some kind of occupation.  What is it that her husband does that affords them so much luxury?

I agree, she seems to have a lot of time on her hands to work on her blog.   I not sure if she's overly privileged but she does get to spend a lot of $$$ on her Disney trips, mostly without her family.  Another factor could be since the cost of living is cheaper in AZ than other states, like CA this allows her to make all her trips.  I swear she'll has taken more trips than Sassy lately.

I really hope I'm wrong but I bet she WILL make the Disney Mom's panel this year.  That panel is something I just don't get.  It sounds like the panel just answers questions for the masses that need help in planning their vacations.  It's sounds like a brilliant idea for Disney…have the people on the panel do the work for free (I'm sure there are perks) in promoting the properties.

Gee I can't wait for 1/2 Marathon weekend coming up….I just hope I can avoid seeing her.

It doesn't take that much to get those invites.  I got one, but didn't go to the race.  For the one in January, they actually invited a bunch of good bloggers, smaller, interesting folks.  (And big ones too, but you know, the variety was nice.)

So, Disney tried to sell tickets to people to stand in line to buy Star Wars merchandise at midnight on the day it was released.   They must have gotten a lot of outrage about the idea of paying fifty bucks just to get in the store, because they cancelled the ticketed event because "so many people" wanted to take part.  Naturally, people started complaining about having purchased tickets and saying they deserved priority.  Disney concurred.

All this is a long way of getting to my point.  Someone posted a pic of the lovely Patty standing first in line in front of the Disney store in Downtown Disney waving her ticket.

Honestly, she is the biggest hype-w***e.

After reading GOMI I went and looked at her cabana post. I can't even get my mind around what she's complaining about and the lengths she went for attention.
