Hamcats, I have stumbled across something that I have been afraid to post for fear she flies the coop. I have enjoyed observing the ridiculousness but it has come to a point now where I just gotta share.

Peacelovemotherrunner (former Oiselle flocker though she is still using the hashtags) routinely posts on IG very fast training runs (like sub 8:00 pace 10+ milers), yet her marathon PR is like 3:55 or something. She runs 7 miles at 7:25 on a random weekday, but a week before only runs 8:01 pace at a 7 mile race (Falmouth Road Race). She posts about running doubles! Someone asked her what her miles per week and she deleted the post and temporarily deactivated her account! I feel like she is going to GOMI for real once she gets wind of this thread.

Today, I finally figured out that she is either mostly or completely full of shizzle. She allegedly ran 20 miles on Sunday at 8:11 pace. Watch pic is "proof" … However, I noticed that Sunday's watch pic is simply a cropped photo of her race from March (still posted on her wordpress blog and IG)! Girlfriend is reusing pics and basically lying. Nevermind she posted that her NYC Half time was 1:41… yet the results say 1:46.

How did she even run Boston twice? Did she use a charity bib? Nothing wrong with it, it's just that she never ran a marathon faster than 3:5x and she even said that she'll be back in 2017.

She ran a 1:47 at the NYC half, so no idea where the 1:40 Garmin shot comes from….

Charity bib, which I'm not snarking on – I think it's awesome to run for charity (though I'm not sure if she did or how she did). Though she makes it look like she qualified when she hashtags #bqchat on her posts.

But come on, she took a photo from 6 months ago and reused it pretend she ran 20 miles at a speedy pace. Cropped out the medal so she totally knows what she's doing.

And yeah, at this point, who knows where that picture came from from the NYC half. Could have been from a run with lots of rest breaks a la auto-pause. But if you read her recap of that one she says her last mile was a 5:04 split. Riiiiiight.

Her 2015 Boston # was definitely in the Charity Bib range, but her 2016 number was in wave 3.  Do charity runners get seeded too?  I know some of the runners running for sponsors end up at the VERY back of the pack.

Based on her blog and IG she has never qualified. Not sure how she ended up in wave 3, unless that bib was gifted to her. Laughing at the 5:04 split!

Why lie?  To impress people you don't know?!

So strange….

Boston 2015 she ran a 3:55-ish (or 54, I can't remember). From what I understand, they seed you with charity bibs too (I'll bet it has to be recent marathon performance). I think that probably got her into wave 3. I feel like wave 4 was over 4 hours but I don't remember anymore.

5:04. That is faster than Shalane ran her last mile at her recent half PR at Rock n Roll.

That Boston recap is drool

She was feeling great and on pace until the 10mile mark, you guys. No shit. We ALL feel great (especially running down hill in Boston feeling like the good times will keep rolling!). Major idontknow that she talks about how hard it felt after the first half. If I had a blog where I humblebrag about how great I am at running easy runs at wonderful paces, (lies probably, I know) I would be embarrassed to admit I was ill-prepared for Boston (or any other marathon).
She went straight to the med tent when she finished due to leg cramps? I'm sure that medic was full of eye-rolls as this peacelovemotherrunning woman wasted time and resources. Then she proceeded to go to a hotel that had a masseuse anyway.

That is so confusing. She just ran a 14-miler at 8:01 pace, but a 7 mile road race at 7:58 pace? Doesn't add up.

What I don't get is that she legitimately ran a fast 20 mile race.  The results put her at an 8:16/mile pace.  How can you run 20 miles (with no walk break Garmin-pauses) at an 8:16/mile pace but an 8:01/mile in a 7 mile race (because her official time was a little slower than the Garmin time she posted… which seems to be her MO).

^ And yet in her IG picture of the Falmouth Road Race she says she's "digging deep"! To get those 8/min miles you can crank out any old time for double-digit distances?

Agree. She either took several breaks or she is just outright lying. Without seeing a Garmin time there is no way to tell. I'm going with she didn't run 14 miles that fast.
