Also, maybe it's just me, but grown women who are obsessed with everything Disney freak me out.

Yes. Yes!!! I don't get it.

Can someone please explain to me how she can have so many vacations? I think that in 2012 alone she will have been on vacation for 6-8 weeks. What job gives you that much vacation time??? She needs a HUGE dose of reality…

IMHO, if you are going to have a (profitable) running blog, and you don't have some super interesting back story, you should probably be fast.

a 2:30 half marathon isn't fast.

THANK YOU! Who can relate to her? A vacation every other week (with her parents…), getting free crap left and right (some of which are for similar products), "working" from home (which actually means going to the gym and stores whenever she feels like it) and no increase to her running speed at all (yet complains it's because she gets 'injured' every time she tries). Wow. Just wow.

I can't stand her blog!  I don't know why I used to look at it (infrequently).  This post called "The One Where I got Read-Ended" really shows you what a selfish B she is.  She goes off on a sleep-deprived college girl for denting her bumper "because the car is never the same again!"  ugh.  It's just a car, stop being so materialistic.  And yes, some people have to work/go to college/etc and can't unwind on Caribbean vacations every month.  PLUS – why would anyone been seeking running advice from a mediocre and chronically injured runner.

She is a spoiled rotten B. She grew up in the "wealthiest part of New Orleans" and has gotten everything she ever wanted. So when she doesn't get what she wants, she throws a fit. That post was a perfect example. Anyone who comments and doesn't sing her praises is considered a "nasty commenter". It's ridiculous. Someone needs to give her a HUGE dose of reality.

Yeah there's a whole back-story she doesn't tell.

Sassy works very little as a Disney travel agent, -used to- work for Running Skirts, and now seems to pimp every product a company asks her to.  (Home power generators?) Not like she is getting anywhere near the web traffic like Meghann or Roni or someone like that gets.

Her husband — barely out of law school and at present not a very successful lawyer, and describes himself as a part-time actor on his twitters.

But they live in a brand new house in a nice area, and go on vacations at least 2-3 months out of the year, usually with her parents.

And Sassy has the gall to tell commenters who challenge her fantasy life to "change their life and follow their dreams like she is."

The back-story has to be either she inherited a wad of cash or her parents are paying her way somehow.

P.S.  I run slow as hell, so a 2:30 half-mary would be a monumental task for me.

I agree with everything that has been said here.  RWS has had everything handed to her on a silver platter.  Her blog is boring, but fun to read if you want to be put in a ragey mood!  LOL!!!  She is downright ignorant!

I think she quit Running Skirts. Apparently working expos (or maybe two jobs in general) is too difficult? And she constantly spams Facebook groups, Twitter, etc. with her Disney travel planning.

Did you even read her home generator review? What if I have to sleep in 100 degree weather? What if I can't be attached to my computer/cell phone to see how many page views I have? Yes, that's what the generator is for. yikes

Her husband — barely out of law school and at present not a very successful lawyer, and describes himself as a part-time actor on his twitters.

Is he even using his law degree? They exercise (during the day) and have lunch together a lot recently.

Just look at her new "travel" page. 2012 alone takes up 3/4 of it.

And Sassy has the gall to tell commenters who challenge her fantasy life to "change their life and follow their dreams like she is."

Seriously?

The back-story has to be either she inherited a wad of cash or her parents are paying her way somehow.

Agreed.

No judgement here! She has run 13 half marathons and has only shaved maybe 15 minutes off her time. And she constantly whines about wanting to become faster, yet ends up injured. Every time. She just needs to own up to the fact that it just may not happen for her, and not give out running advice in the process.

This sounds like pyramid scheme "talk"

I've heard the Disney events aren't that fun and are a real ripoff for attendees.  Then again, I run with crazy trail runners who tend to eschew mainstream events.  If a race does not specifically include beer, well then, not a good race!

Miss Sassy has her house up for sale.

That didn't last long. Me thinks she couldn't afford it. Maybe she should stop taking so many trips.

My guess? Moving next door to her parents. Because living an hour away is too much.
