Does he know nothing about ultras?  Does he know that there won't be bands at every mile and cheering spectators the whole time?  Doe he know there will be no ambassador program to give him free entry and other stuff?  Does he know that a lot of ultras don't even give out bling at the end (the only reason he and his ilk even do races because they were the kids who never won anything beyond participation trophies growing up)?  Does he know that trail running is infinitely harder than road running?  Does he know he'll have to actually train for it?  Dude almost died at the end of Boston last April for lack of training, and he's going to run more than double that distance? rolleyes  He just seems to have a list of random running goals on his wall and throws darts at it and for 2017 he hit "run an ultra!"

LOLZ for days if he attempts this. My girlfriend did the 100M and said it was really hard! He is an able bodied mid 30s guy with no real job (?) — dude should be CRUSHING all of his training… but I guess it's hard to train when you have to document every.single.thing.

Our boy Sharpie survived Dopey! I say survived because it doesn't look like he put much effort into it.

5K – 34:40 (11:09 min/mi)

10K – 1:10:41 (11:22 min/mi)

1/2 (cancelled) – 2:29:39 (11:26 min/mi) He also took a break in the middle for a storm cell to pass (https://twitter.com/SharpEndurance/status/817723148242194432)

Marathon – 6:13:34 (14:14 min/mi)

I know most people don't or can't run all out every day of these multi day challenges. But most people I know that do them choose at least one day to go a little faster and actually run. Even these paces seem slow for Sharpie.

I think I know why he picked Javelina 100K for his ultra. It has a 29 hour cutoff! He could run slower than that WDW marathon pace, take a nap for a few hours in the night, and then finish the race.
