I'm new to the world of running and didn't even know that running blogs existed until I found GOMI. Which running blogs do you like?

Most of the running blogs I enjoy (instead of hate reading or tolerating) don't post with much regularity.  These four are listed in order of posting frequency.

http://gourmetrunner.blogspot.com

I never skim her posts, which is rare for the blogs I read.  Yes, she asks questions at the end of each blog post, but it feels natural.  Plus, she posted a video a while back with her husband about the "joys" of being married to a blogger.

http://roserunner.blogspot.com

She's blunt (read:  b***hy) about blogging bullshit.  She once held a give away where to enter you had to demonstrate reading comprehension skills, aka not have skimmed her post.  Plus, she's f**king fast as shit, has a real job (lawyer), and calls herself out when she posts fluffy filler.

http://runwithkate.blogspot.com

Hot?  Check.  Fast?  Check.  Posts only when she has something to say?  Check.

http://doctormama.blogspot.com

DoctorMama rarely posts now, but her archives are interesting, well written, and entertaining.  She promotes a slow slow slow method of running, mostly to get non-runners out there and moving.  Maybe I shouldn't put her in the running bloggers category, but I really enjoy her.

My favorite runner blogger is Rose Runner. She is a bad ass runner. Plus she's a great writter and she's on the snarky side.

Another great blog to read is California Training. She is a Tri-Athlete that just turned pro. She's had a blog for several years now and she has never sold out to pimp products. She's an incredibly fast runner. Plus she is modest about her accomplishments.  She has a full time job but she trains her ass off. I think I have a runner crush on her

AKA LVrunner, Hairy Limb Watch, and briefly as Checked Luggage Vs. Carry on Luggage.

http://www.hungryrunnergirl.com/ (although she's pregnant at the moment, so not a ton of training stuff in there – she still runs, just not fast/training)

http://www.eatdrinkandrun.com/

http://walktothemailbox.com/ (very infrequent poster)

I also just found: http://tstonerunnermom.blogspot.com/2012/03/rookie-mistake.html (although through a comment on SR, so I don't know  . . . she seems cool, though and trains moderately hard.  I've only read a handful of posts so far.

She's a triathlete, infrequent poster, but I find her race recaps and training posts to be helpful and interesting to read.

I recently added her to my reader. She's running an ultra this weekend and I have enjoyed her training posts.

She is training for an Ironman.

She is hella fast. I hope she gets her sub-3 hour marathon this year.

Going to second this one. Her posts are really informative and she seems like a nice, mellow person. Plus, her trail/ultra training stuff has been cool to read about.

I have always been a fan of this blog, I love reading her training recaps.  Its a true running blog, and not the sell out so many other blogs are.

She's not super fast, but she works full time, is a recent college grad getting back on her feet in Boston after leaving NYC and trying to find her own apartment.  She's a dedicated runner, even though she's no speed demon.  I like to read about someone who isn't a natural sub-4 marathoner, and who can't run a 6:53 pace, but loves the sport and works her @$$ off.

Cort is a talented triathlete and is smart about her training. I'm not even a runner and I love her blog!
