Yeah, she's jumped the shark for me. We have toddlers the same age and while I appreciate the honesty about parenting, it's becoming repetitive and try-hard. And while I don't think this is probably reality, she comes across like she doesn't even like her kid or being a parent very much.

Yep, yep, yep. The sponsored posts feel so contrived, too. Two recent turn offs: the pajama photo shoot for her moms night in (can't remember what product was being pushed so clearly post wasn't very effective) and the post about having friends over to watch football and oh hey, this is a chair I received from a sponsor, buy yourself some chairs!
bye

The pajama photo shoot was for the release of Pitch Perfect 2. I only remember because every fecking blogger I read was doing the same sponsored post that day. Enough.

Her post about "mom needs a break" might move her to a GOMI. She's frazzled, exhausted, overwhelmed but can still take time to prepare a perfect vignette of snacks and alcohol, and the right tshirt and have beautifully shot photos. Yeah-huh. It pushed it from fun to GOMI

Have to agree. I really enjoy her and totally get her humor, but she's starting to push it.

After tonight's "Day in the life of" post I kind of have to agree. I usually like the sarcasm, but tonight it came off kind of b***hy and made me wonder if she's a very friendly (not as sarcastic/b***hy) in real life. Like does she show any love towards her husband and child or is she just so sarcastic all the time that she's a pain in the ass, ticking time bomb to live with? idontknow

SUCH a weird post. She got a day without the baby to run errands and have meetings…boo hoo? And did Gray eat dinner? The husband had to fend for himself for dinner and she didn't even bother eating? Do they spend time together outside of watching football on tv/at games? What is her day like when she's with the baby all day? I can see not writing about that because if you're a mom too you already know and don't care, but writing about an errand day without having to drag a one year old through it all sounds like a breeze, quite frankly. But she made it all sound so complainy. I don't even know…it just left me shaking my head, like what the hell did I just read and why?

I really don't understand why she seems so stressed in the day in the life post?  Her kid was at daycare the first half of the day, came home and he took a two hour nap and it sounded like she used that time to basically relax. (which is fine, I'm not hating against that).  Then makes it sound like she drowns her sorrows from her stressful day in wine at night… if she didn't make it sound like she was drinking because she was miserable I wouldn't think twice, but having a liquid dinner because of your "stressful" day of going to the damn chiropractor, a meeting about house renovations, and buy crap and Home-Goods makes me roll my eyes.  Maybe I'm missing something, but I really didn't get this post.

Her latest IG post makes me think she reads here.

Oh absolutely! She's too insecure (that's not the exact word she used, but she said something along those lines) not to read here.

And New Year, New Yang, regarding the wine thing, why does she brag about how much wine she drinks? Like why do most bloggers do that in general? Cool, you drink. I do too, and so do most of my friends and family members. But I don't know anyone in real life that brags about drinking the way bloggers do. Quite frankly, I find it annoying and immature. It makes me think of those people that never really grow out of their college attitude, where everything revolves around drinking.

I really enjoyed reading her blog for a long time but lately not so much.
I have a two year old and I work from home. The truth is life with toddlers is a new way of life and the endless whining about how hard it is and how stressed you are is a major turn off. What happened to just getting on with it?

I'm also over the professional photos on IG and blog repeat. I get making the most of what you paid for but she's jumped the shark to pretentious and spoiled. I hope she can turn it around, but, I doubt it.

Some of her posts are so fantastic but she is really treading gomi territory….. I'm still just a mom of one but I don't find it that hard to get showered and dressed daily, go to work part time, go to the gym, find time to do basic cleaning, make dinner and still find time in the evening to enjoy a drink and some TV. The frazzled mom thing is getting old….

Did she really just post a dedication blog post asking people to ask her questions?!  What's going on with her blog these days?  I am SO over the professional pics – does she have an album she uses everyday to figure "which pic from 3 months ago can i post today?!" shutupsigh

I really like Stephanie's witty, sarcastic sense of humor. I love her decorating style and I'm dying to know what exactly her husband does that they can afford all this! They've bought multiple houses and done a ton of remodeling in both (although this SC house was much more of a renovation project than their house in Maine.) Everything in their homes seems top of the line.

My only complaint about her is my same complaint for other SAHM bloggers. Why do you always act so busy/exhausted, and why can you never find time to make dinner for your husband? There is zero reason if you're home all day that you can't fix dinner. And I'm always curious why their husbands are ok with a messy house (I'm too busy to clean!) and a wife who can't be bothered to cook? Call me old school but a clean house and making dinner for my man is important to me!
