I'm confused. Is her kid really named Grey or not? I thought I read a post by her about giving the kid privacy online and using a nickname on the blog, but then she posted the personalized lunchbox and it says "Grey" – so do they actually call him that in real life, or did she have some props made specifically for his identity on the blog?

confused

Gray is his middle name which he goes by. I think she said his first name is a very long and unique family name. She also calls him Tate and he has things that say Tate as well. Apparently she is really into nicknames.

I really like Stephanie's witty, sarcastic sense of humor. I love her decorating style and I'm dying to know what exactly her husband does that they can afford all this! They've bought multiple houses and done a ton of remodeling in both (although this SC house was much more of a renovation project than their house in Maine.) Everything in their homes seems top of the line.

My only complaint about her is my same complaint for other SAHM bloggers. Why do you always act so busy/exhausted, and why can you never find time to make dinner for your husband? There is zero reason if you're home all day that you can't fix dinner. And I'm always curious why their husbands are ok with a messy house (I'm too busy to clean!) and a wife who can't be bothered to cook? Call me old school but a clean house and making dinner for my man is important to me!

Do you have kids? Are you a stay at home mom? If you are then you'd understand that your 9 month old aka YOUR BOSS, gives zero shits about you cleaning your house or having dinner on the table for 'your man'. They care about their wants and their needs. You enjoy cleaning your house and making dinner, good for you, but DON'T YOU DARE JUDGE A STAY AT HOME MOM FOR NOT BEING SUZY HOMEMAKER 24/7! hammer

I have a pretty demanding toddler but still manage to keep the house cleaned up, shower daily and make meals, see my post on the previous page…. Are there days that are crazier than others, of course! I don't think anyone is judging stay at home mom's. The frazzled posts were relatable at first but now seem over done….

Not sure where I said you have to be Suzy homemaker 24/7. Dinner takes all of an hour to make and straightening up throughout the day, however often it needs to be done, is not that hard. I didn't say Stephanie has to scrub the floors on her hands and knees every day! But a clean (not spotless) house and dinner is not asking much.

do you remember when she wrote about how her husband said he cant wait to get her old figure back when she was highly pregnant with grey?

i always thought that WOW, so I wonder how things in their marriage are now where she clearly isnt back to her former figure yet.

she used to be a total SOMI for me but now she is a GOMI.

Even so, I think everyone says things like that when they are pregnant. He seems like he is happy with her and overall pretty normal. She is the one that is now annoying.

how do bloggers like Stephanie get photographers to do these free shoots all the time?  She always has the anthro posts with photos.  Maybe anthro is doing promotions AND paying for the photog, but isn't anthro a national chain???

Her blog went from basic mom, newlywed blogging to ALL PROFESSIONALLLLL.  Maybe she's making bank off all this, who knows.newhere

Just came here to say how obnoxious the whole mom bod shtick is! I roll my eyes every time she writes about it. She writes about her "mom bod" like it's disgusting and needs to be covered up. There's a difference in picking out and writing about clothes that make you feel confident, and picking out and writing about clothes that cover your "lumps and bumps" like some body fat is something to be ashamed about. Her whole "mom bod" thing is the second camp for me. I like the clothes she picks out and I'm glad she feels good in them, but I HATE the way she writes about it.

I also find her "mama needs her wine" shtick really tired. I get that it's something other people can relate and that's why she panders to it, but it's way overdone and tired now.

I generally really like her blog but she needs to examine the mom bod and wine themes!
