These are two Nashville girls who married celebs and started blogging because they have nothing else to do. I'd love to start a thread–both blogs are cringe-worthy, you must want to be like me because I'm blonde and married someone semi-famous–but Nashville is a small town disguised as a big city and we have friends in common so I don't dare. But ugh, celebrity-wife blogs drive me bonkers.

idontknow

Nash-ham here and so I checked out those blogs. Julie's husband is hot – which led me to googling them to figure out who he is which led me to this moment:

Does Jonathon Schaech live in Nashville?!?!?!? AND HOW DID HE GET SO HOT? Wow. I *just* watched That Thing You Do recently and I can't believe that jerk Jimmy grew up to be so incredibly good looking. Yowzers.

Also, who is Womanista married to? Her "about" section doesn't mention her name or anything.

I was just curious about that – I think she's married to the shorter dude in Lady Antebellum.

I have a lot of SOMI's that I would never add to their respective categories (I'd feel too bad) under the GOMI forums, but sometimes wish I could read a little snark about them… does that happen to anyone else? I know, I'm a hypocrite.

I would start with Glisten Fit, a SOMI for me. I really like her, and I'm curious to see what others who might think she's a GOMI would have to say. Who would you want to see?

I thought about posting her on here before when she was Lovely Little Things, but I figured her blog was kind of small and no one cared. I always liked her overall and thought she seemed like a sweet girl, but her blog just was kind of all over the place and she maybe did too many link ups (sometimes I read her blog and literally the only posts were like share a recipe Monday link up with abc blogger, outfit link up with xyz blogger, high five for Friday with the Lauren). Also, didn't she ask a blogger friend that she hadn't previously met IRL to be a bridesmaid? Or am I wrong? If so, I side-eye that a bit.

I like her new blog though and I'm glad she finally gained some direction with something she seems really happy doing. Girlfriend is RIPPED too.

Glisten Fit also had some nasty polyester extensions for her wedding, and is way too obsessed with her Bump-It. She just screams Florida trailer trash to me. She can definitely GOMI.

I don't know anything about the quality of her workout tips/videos (I seriously can't stand her but have accidentally clicked on RTs for her a couple of times… ugh), but her thighs are stocky as hell. If that's the kind of muscle you want, go for it… but it makes her look even shorter. The way she dresses doesn't help that either, though.

Her last name is Kelley, right? That's the last name of the TALL guy in Lady A. Which would mean that her sister-in-law would be katherine heigl. Anyway, I hated the layout of her blog, so I didn't really check it out. Why do people do those layouts where you have to click on their post links to see any of the post. UGH. TOO LAZY for that. Just let me scroll, ya know?

Not quite answering the OP's question, but I wanted to start a thread for a blogger I'm annoyed with (Putting Me Together), but I don't have a "new thread" button anywhere, probably because I'm new. Do you guys know how many meows to be able to create a new thread?

I believe her name is Kasmira. I think 99% of her outfits are totally snarkworthy but she seems like such a nice person, and she really seems to give no f**ks at all what people think of her, and that is kind of endearing to me.

Ha! I know her IRL… never knew she had a blog!

I feel like her outfits could be snarkworthy if she were a try-hard. She seems authentic and has sweet hair! :)

Yes, she's ripped. But I wish she would cover up a bit more. We don't all need to see the bewbs in our face every day and 6-pack abs. We know they're there, you know?

But her thighs are her thighs. She was born with those babies. I'm not sure how much muscle is in there, but you're right, they're accentuated with the booty shorts she always wears. Her workouts are actually good, I've done a couple.

So about what I said chair

I would feel really shitty starting a thread about her since she seems really nice and has been through a lot with her disability, but I get frustrated because she writes about life and love as if it's a Taylor Swift song.  She's over 30 and still writing blog letters to her hypothetical husband but makes no attempt to meet anyone.  She's against online dating but doesn't go out, and seems hung up on guys from a decade ago.  I partially read her blog hoping she'll change and start "going for it" but I don't think it will ever happen idontknowShe used to be an editor/advisor at a college newspaper but then quit to blog "full time" and her content went downhill.  I think she's a great writer though.

What disability? (I don't read her blog regularly, but I'm curious.)

I second that. She seems so sweet but I just want to tell her to get out of the house and meet some people! She really romanticizes things, which is sweet, but it is also a little sad.  She has something called Freeman Sheldon Syndrome, which is a physical disability.

That is correct–she's married to the tall one, Charles Kelley. She was his brother's PR rep and that's how they met.

They met when he was in Nashville filming something or another. She got knocked up and they had a shotgun wedding. She actually had a great reputation for doing PR in Nashville prior to all that, but now I guess she's a mommy blogger.

Work With Whatcha Got said

Elise Blaha Cripe. chair

Coming here to post this…

I love her and her blog! Constantly impresses me.

I loved her for years, when she was still a paper crafting/scrap blog. Something about her transition into just making "stuff" and those cringe-inducing "Dear Ellerie" posts tipped her the other way for me. I think her business model is fascinating, considering she made over $50,000 in stamp sales (which, admittedly, I contributed to), but the only posts I've enjoyed from her for most of 2014 have been the business related posts, which is a far cry from how much I used to enjoy the blog. Also, it's totally BS she's on the Studio Calico team this year since she never really blogs Project Life anymore the way she used to. It's fine to move on from a hobby or business venture, but own it and don't keep trying to reap the benefits with a minimal amount of effort. At the heart of it, I don't get the same creative inspiration from her anymore, I don't like the over-saturation of kid posts, and I miss the light-hearted tone and honesty that haven't been present much since 2012.

When I saw this thread title Elise was also my first thought. I quite admire her work, taste, consistency and writing….but every once and a while there are some "wtf" moments where I wish I could come here to make sure I'm not the only one thinking it:)

My other one would be Smile & Wave – Rachel Denbow. I had to unfollow her on IG recently because I couldn't deal with the constant "woe is me" posts that makes all the fangirls gush about how amazing she is.
