I've read TW's blog before the scrub and parts of it are seared into my memory due to their sheer wtf-ness.  I'd be happy (it would be a delightful outlet for my dislike of her, really) to corroborate some of the vintage TW stories that have been removed.

For example, that T1's changing table was a file cabinet that someone else had thrown out.  (I assumed at the time it had some kind of top placed on it… but with her, who knows.) Or that she wrote he wasn't playing with his toys "correctly" by carrying them around the apartment, so she threw out all but five.  That kind of charming stuff.  I just wish I'd looked more carefully at some of the personal spreadsheets she used to share, those were probably gold.

At first glance I thought the title of the new thread was "That Wife – Carrot" and all I could think was, "Oh man, what has Jenna done now??"

Ugh. She's the worst. What baby knows how to play "correctly" with toys? I can also verify that she has posted pictures of T1 triple-diapered so that she could get 10 hours of sleep without having to change him, of him with a bottle propped up to his face with a blanket so she didn't have to hold or touch him when he was eating, of him in his pack n play in the bathroom, of him in a bumbo on the kitchen counter. The list goes on and on.

No Instagrams or Tweets in almost 24 hours…I wonder if her GOMI "award" made Swavek put her on lock down?

Hey everyone,

I'm not a reader of this blog.  In fact I'd never even heard of her until I joined this site.  I have looked at her blog a few times just based on the comments here.  She sounds like a narcissistic sociopath, for reals.  What kind of parent wishes their kid was never born and  openly BLOGS about it?  Her kids will need therapy for sure.

I read that some time ago a member of her church may have reported her to CPS?  Does anybody know the outcome of that?  Was their just not enough evidence of neglect to act on the allegations?  She does not sound deserving of any child now, or in the future.

Jenna is many things, but being neglectful to the point where cps is going to get involved isn't one of them. She's a shitty parent for sure, but her kids are fed, have a roof over their heads and aren't in any overt physical danger. This kind of thing often gets my goat. There are children out there suffering from ACTUAL abuse and neglect that cps should be worrying about. I'm not saying a friend or family member might not want to step in and encourage her to get parenting classes or to perhaps cool it on blogging about how much she resents her kid but being a crap parent is different than needing social services to step in.

If Jenna hated T1 as a baby, and hated him as a toddler, and hates him as a young child, I can't imagine what she thinks the pre-teen/teen years will bring her. Is she shooting for some golden age past 4 (which she's "heard" is as bad as 3)? When does she think parenting magically gets easier and requires less effort and supervision? Parenting is the easiest WHEN YOU HAVE NO KIDS.

I'd be interested to see what Jenna considers "spoiling" by the grandparents to be. Love and attention, maybe? If it wasn't apparent that Jenna is a narcissistic asshole, I wouldn't be able to believe that's she not dying of humiliation and shame about the T1-focused goals she failed to meet on her stupid 101 in 1000 list. She sure has plenty of time to "enjoy prioritizing" goals that shove food in her ugly face and plan her "fete." We'll see what kind of birthday parties T1 and T2 get in the meantime. Should be an interesting comparison.

Although I completely agree that what Jenna does/does not do to her kids pales in comparison to some of the truly deranged and terrible people in the world, to say that she has not engaged in "ACTUAL" neglect is just….not accurate. Locking your baby in a bathroom for 12 hours without a diaper change is neglectful. Allowing your child to sleep in an active darkroom with processing chemicals would also, in my eyes, fall into a grey area of abuse/neglect. In fact, it tends to be this grey area "is this or isn't this abuse/neglect" stuff that often goes unreported, and can end up really affecting kids negatively later in life.

With CPS, they track how many times someone is reported and for what. So, if someone reports "well this woman leaves her baby in the bathroom for 12 hours without changing him" they likely will not investigate. BUT, if 1 person reports that, and then someone else reports something else, then someone else reports things that verge on verbal abuse (being a jerk, etc.), etc. then CPS has a solid case of evidence and history of suspect behavior, and then they would be more likely to investigate.I am not suggesting someone should report her, because we do not know her, but to say that this isn't "Bad enough" and that's why it shouldn't be reported? That's incredibly unfair to T1, and to any child who lives in this grey area of suspect parenting.

Well, she said his Polish grandparents "spoiled" him when they bought him a cute kid sized chair and let him watch cartoons while sitting in it, so….yeah.
