Not the worst I've seen but yeah that photography is bad.

Why would you include this in your PUBLIC wedding photos on the internet? dead

They couldn't at least put a shirt on him? I guess that would have taken away from the "spontaneity" of the photo (rolleyes).

Looking at her write up, I am kind of uh she considers "fiance says something heart-breakingly insensitive about your dress or hair? Forgive him/her and laugh it off" to be the same as "A waiter spills a glass of red wine on your father-in-law's white shirt at the reception? Laugh it off.". Like, I was pretty damn chill about my wedding but if I was dealing with a "heart-breakingly insensitive" fiance I would be a little concerned and think maybe it was good to talk about it, instead of laugh it off. That is not a wedding detail like us ending up without a photographer or flowers was.

I did not have a "traditional wedding" either but never felt I fit in at OBB either as it was also note quite Pinterest-worthy enough (apparently having a theme other than "we are getting married" is also a requirement). As others have pointed out, it always seemed more "look at how non-traditional (in a very professionally blog-worthy photographed way) we are!". I appreciate not everyone feels this way, or was this way, but it was definitely a vibe I felt. It really did not make it that much different than any other wedding site that promoted buying the fancier white dress because "it's your day!". They still refer to it all as wedding porn, after all.

Some days I wonder if blogged & themed weddings are the new traditional wedding, whether or not you have a white poofy dress, visible tattoos, or mason jars. After all, if you don't share it, why experience it? emberkomodogad5bq4

Is that wedding real? Am I the only one who gets a Nat the Fat Rat kind of ooh-we-are-sooo-edgy-Mormon vibe? Trying too hard yet everything is either too obnoxious or too omagerd yerso edgy staged. rolleyes Or maybe it's the sistercousin. uh I don't know what a sistercousin is but it sounds Appalachian or Mormon.

I vote rebel Mormon wedding. Plus, it's Florida…. chin

I'm very meh on Ariel as well. I don't think she's terrible but there are times she can definitely come off as insufferable or needlessly b***hy.. I wouldn't mind the b***hiness if she owned it, but she doesn't. Someone pointed out after a flood of vegan wedding posts that posting that a wedding or event was "Cruelty Free" instead of simply putting "Vegan" is problematic for a few reasons and a few weeks later there was a blog post about how she couldn't make everyone happy and basically being a b***h that someone would dare point out things like that or make critiques. It was incredibly dismissive and left a bad taste in my mouth because the attitude was basically "If I don't agree with you on a personal level then I'm not going to assume good faith regardless of how polite or well reasoned you are."
