I've been seeing this all over Instagram.  Is it another affiliate link thing for bloggers to make money off of?

Yeah it's from the same people associatedwith Reward Style (affiliate program), it makes instagrams shoppable so yes it's another affiliate program. I think you download it and have the items in the person's instagram pic sent to you via links.

I'm glad I googled what liketkit was and found this thread because I was about to ask what the heck it was. I figured it was an affiliate thing. How annoying.

I hate it because fashion bloggers are making it so that you will only know what they're wearing if they make money off of your knowledge. Disgusting.

Some, like JenLovesKev, will take the time to tell an Instagram commenter how to find out where her shirt is from by going through all the steps to sign up for and use that stupid system, rather than just say "Madewell".

Most people don't want to sign up for one more thing.  No one needs the extra steps for something like this.  This is one of the dumbest ideas yet (up there with Pippit).  I think they are over-estimating how much people care about shopping for what they are wearing.

It aggravates me when innocent commenter ask what Like to Know It is and the fashun blogger says, so you can get what I'm wearing. I wish said fashun bloggers would say, we get a commission over your purchase or something like that.

I must be in the minority, but I genuinely like when bloggers use this tool. They rarely post in the caption what they're wearing anyway (it's always like, "go to my blog for this look"), so I don't really see the difference or how this is annoying. I find it helpful. It satisfies my curiosity with no effort whatsoever. I find myself liking photos a lot more when they link via Like to Know It.

I actually get MORE annoyed when bloggers don't use it; it seems lazy to use it sporadically with no rhyme or reason.

It would be more reader-friendly if they just listed where their clothes are from right there on the Instagram.  To make readers hunt for it anywhere seems unfriendly to me.  That is how it is annoying, in my opinion.

At least with the bloggers I follow on instagram, it's made their feeds more spammy.  If a blogger only posted to announce a new post, I usually didn't follow them.  I liked the ones that shared more candid things from their daily life.  Now I'm inundated with outfit pics that aren't Instagram worthy but just because bloggers are trying to really squeeze out as much affiliate $ as possible.  I refuse to sign up because I only like photos that I want to go back and look at.  I don't want anymore spammy emails.
