Please tell me other people watch this lol I've been watching all the girls since they were first featured on 16 and pregnant. It's kind of annoying that they don't mention it on the show, but we all know MTV is paying them a ton of money. (They'll just randomly buy a car or a house, etc, it'll just happen and we all know they're not working.) Jenelle is my favorite, her Mom is a saint. Honestly. I'm annoyed with how Leah keeps jumping from marriage to marriage. That can't be a healthy pattern.

Thoughts? lol

Shit, I haven't gotten a chance to watch any of this season's episodes yet, but I love Teen Mom. I will say that I am more of a devotee to the original Teen Mom and the beautiful love of Amber and Gary (GEEEEERRRRRYYYY), but Teen Mom 2 is also good. I was so sad when Jenelle and Kiefer broke up, their antics were hilarious.

I have to say I only wish the best for Leah. I think marriage is just a way of life for some people. I am kind of fascinated by West Virginia and the coal industry, too.

I just got sucked back in to Teen Mom 2. Can we just talk about Chealsea's hair?! So bad, so fried, so in need of a brush! Also, why the random face piercings?

I do feel for Kaitlyn(or is it Kailyn?), she really has no support system. That's got to be rough.

Good lord that girl is a trainwreck and a half. Her hair makes me laugh/vomit/feel bad for her. That's going to be embarrassing to look back on. Don't even get me started on her f**ked up relationship with that douche Adam. drool

This show is my guilty pleasure. I'm upset that Leah is so willing to jump back into the dating scene so quickly (I know mtv edits the hell out of this show so I don't know how much time has really passed. ) ihope Chelesea gets over Adam this time. Adam is such an asshole.

I like Janelle the least. She is such a trainwreck and its awful how she and her mother fight in front of Jace.

I have a soft spot for all of the babies. Its nice to watch thm grow and develop into toddlers.

Chelsea's hair has bounced from brown-blonde so many times it's a miracle she's not in a wig by now. That's so incredibly damaging…The day Adam texted her saying her daughter was a mistake and that Chelsea was a fat cow or whatever with stretchmarks would have been the day I cut him off 100% from my life and Aubree's life. Inexcusable. How about some respect for the woman who gave birth to your child. It takes two to tango.

Not only that she jumped back into dating so quickly but the fact that she has a guy she's known for a hot minute around her kids. I was a single mom for a long time and it can be rough. I never let myself think every guy that wanted to date me was going to end up being husband material and I sure as shit didn't introduce them to my kids. By the time I met my now husband I'd been single for 7 years and he was the first boyfriend they ever met. We also dated for 8 months before they met him.

I wish somebody would tell these girls to slow down a little.banghead

Jenelle's Kesha excuse was the speech my dreams are made of… I've never laughed so hard at another human being in my life.

AND SHE WANTS TO BE A HAIRSTYLIST! Gah. Her hair is hooooorrrrid. In the talks they do after the episode airs she's sporting brown hair that looks so much better. So. She's young, she's learned and hopefully she'll never go back to blonde again. I don't get how she's still hung up on Adam. He's done nothing to warrant her attention.

My heart breaks for Kailyn. I'm glad that Jo and his family (well, since the break it's mainly just Jo) are close with her and still talk her through her issues. I couldn't imagine the emotions she feels. She's probably the most interesting mom on Teen Mom 2. I found her on IG and noticed that she's engaged, I think it will be very interesting to see how the relationship starts, what kind of person he is, and how he's finally able to break her barrier.

Jenelle pisses me off. The only nice thing she has done in her entire life is sign away her rights to her son.

I agree, I think it's very unhealthy for Leah to move from relationships as quickly as she does. I think it's her upbringing though. My sister in law had a very similar upbringing too and is very similar to her. I'm not going to quote you again, but I KNOW! My brother was a single father (as in the whole shabang, 24/7) and he didn't introduce his wife to his daughter until he knew he wanted to marry her…which was about 6 or so months in. He said it was too risky to do otherwise.

RE: Timeline: I really wish MTV would date stamp the scenes so I would know when they occurred…but, of course, if they did that they couldn't play with the timeline.

AND THE MONEY! I was saving this for last. Every season I hit a point where I can't watch because they spend so much money. So many tattoos. So many fake boobies. So many cars. So many house. So few working. (Do any of them work? I know Kailyn did last season and Chelsea quit her job the beginning of this season.) It's disgusting that they are spending their money on these things and then complaining about having a lack of money. When the show first started I was really hoping that the money would be put into some kind of trust for the kids and their college…but I doubt that's happened.

Ughhhhh I wanted to smack Leah for being all pissy and supposedly ending her marriage over Corey wanting a truck and then two episodes later she has a new SUV!

I have to confess to a crush on Raaaahn. If Maci was too dumb to let him go and take up with Kahl, then I'll take the leftovers (which would imply she ever had him, which is still up for debate). I've watched this show since the beginning, and it initially served to let me feel good about myself. I could have been any one of these girls, minus the mall hair and spray tan. But thank the lord that I never had to take antibiotics while taking the pill or use the pull and pray method. I really enjoyed Dr. Phil's gelhouse interview with Amburr. I hope they followup with her, because Starcasm only gives me so much.

As much as the show entertains me, I've heard teen girls say things like "Well, Farrah has a new car and Maci has her own house. Things work out." They can, but these girls also have "salaries" from MTV and basically signed their rights to a good edit away. Look at Maci – goes from golden child to partying mom. Their lives and their children's lives are being played out across TV and tabloids. I guess as much as I love to laugh at the ridiculousness, these are kids that are going to have lifelong repercussions from this shit and the parents don't do shit to prepare for that storm.

SHE DID! You're right. I got so mad at Leah during that whole thing. I thought she downplayed her role in their divorce a lot. I think it was during the reunion show, but she was crying and she said "Like I've said I'm sorry and everything." Right there. Proof that she is far too young to wed. I don't know, there's little she could do to redeem herself in that marriage after finding out that she cheated on him within a week before the wedding and wore her engagement ring…I mean. That's just. Inexcusable. I also thought she was really fast to file for divorce and her reasoning was BS. Corey would never take those girls away from her and she should know that.

I think the fact that the show didn't mention Leah's new car (or many of the other girls' purchases) shows a bias towards them. The show doesn't want to focus on the things they are buying, but it's really hard not to notice them acquiring costly things during the season. I don't think the show glamorizes teen pregnancy, but I do think it creates a slanted view of it. It'd be really interesting to do an update episode on the girls they didn't follow after 16 and Pregnant.

ETA: Maci was right for leaving Ryan…he didn't treat her right at all. He might be a good guy (and I think he is) but that doesn't excuse the fact that he treated her badly and they're not meant for each other.

I am horrified that Leah was so willing to get pregnant so fast with the next baby. Call me traditional but she's barley engaged and hardly knows this new guy. Everything is all sunshine and roses because they don't know each other yet!! I think she has her hands full with two babies already especially one with special needs.  Her fiance mentions that he wants a kid of his own and boom she just decides to get pregnant.
