So, to all those internet mommies who are like "IT'S JUST A NAKED CHILD WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU PERVERTS. SHE'S MY BABY AND I OWN HER," trust me. There is some skeevy ass guy in Bakersfield that appreciates your free spirit.

In another career a lifetime ago I had reason to know a whole lot about people who steal children's pictures on the internet. They steal clothed pictures, too. They steal pictures of any child they find "attractive." They steal pregnant mom pictures, too, so they can pretend to be a "mommy" and hang out on parenting boards and get even more pictures.

Moral of the story? Keep pics of your kids locked down if you're sharing them online and share nothing that you wouldn't mind someone else stealing and making their own.

My thinking is that this is a new reality and you can't totally live for the crazies but you can at least keep some OBVIOUS pics out of their hands (naked babies, for example).

Is she really proud that her child is now the face of a bunch of fat-themed memes? I'm all about body acceptance, baby rolls, etc., but I can't see this child appreciating the viral photo when she is a teen and going through body angst.

She's absolutely thrilled. This is every instamommy's wet dream come true. All she wants is for people to link it back to her gram account so she gets more attention and followers.

The comments on her pics now are super f**king creepy. Dudes in Singapore and Belgium begging her for more pics of her "squishy" baby, dudes in Argentina and Mexico calling her baby "tasty" and saying they want to love her etc. I have a feeling Kinsley is going to spend most of her adulthood getting letters from law enforcement with news about what disgusting places her images were found. But hey, as long as mommy gets on The Ellen Show and The View, right?

This made me throw up in my mouth a little bit puke

I seriously hope no media outlets gives this any kind of attention.

Just came here to say this is super weird, and I would kill my mom if she ever did this to me and I found out about it later.  Is everyone in this lady's family just okay with it?  Also, +1 to whoever mentioned that most of  the comments on her pics are foreign … buy fake followers much?

In the daddy + baby bathroom pic, all I can see is that hideous wallpaper border.

The foreign followers issue came up when another mom blogger (whose name I forget) had nude photos up…after she took the pics down, some guy showed up here ranting about how we had ruined things with our commentary, and that the photos were all about "innocence".

His user name here, which was quite unusual, linked to a South American man's twitter account.

Don't think he was a purchased follower, simply a collector of these particular types of photographs.

Does this not bother these mothers at all?  I find the thought of my kids' images being used this way pretty horrifying.

I think that thread was 'A little blueberry", if I remeber correctly, only remember because I started that thread, even though I unfollowed Allison a long time ago, I still see her dauggther all over IG. I see now, that she is pregnant, again. So another little human for her to exploit, and try to become insta famous with, give it up Allison, it's not going to happen……These mommies will never learn.

i guess I'm in the minority with thinking a baby that heavy isn't cute. chair She does not have normal baby rolls, that baby is obese. I don't believe the baby's doctor hasn't said anything about it, I think her mother has selective hearing or is not being honest. I was a foster parent and one of the babies I cared for was also in the 99th percentile for weight at about 7 months, and off the charts when we got him. If I remember he weighed 31lbs at 10 months. He had some sort of hormonal / glandular disorder and while she claimed he was breastfed only, she was actually supplementing with lots of solid food. She just thought since the baby wasn't getting a bottle, he was "breastfed only". She fed him every time he fussed, which was a lot. I hope this little girl is healthy and doesn't suffer any ill effects from being so heavy. But I don't get why posting p**o-bait on IG would warrant an appearance on a talk show? Where is the logic?

I agree, this baby isn't cute to me. I'm not drawn to her pics for their cuteness and, as a parent, I don't find it funny or talk-show worthy at all. She is, however, an innocent little one with no say in all of this and that's so unfair. I'm not debating her weight, her health, or what her pediatrician might or might not say. I'm assuming that unless her family's diet is really bad, she'll just naturally lose some of her rolls as she starts moving more on her own.

I'm not okay with awkward pics of a naked baby that are making the rounds on the Internet and being appropriated for unkind memes. It's so sad. I can't even be snarky about it. Some of the parents we discuss here are just as stupid as F. I hope that this will be yesterday's news very soon and I hope this mom gets a clue and stops posting.

That baby is alarming looking. The mom is revolting in her stage mom behavior too.

I think the baby needs a visit to a competent pediatrician not a momager.

i'm glad i'm not the only one who doesn't think that baby is cute…babies with leg rolls are one thing, but you can tell when they're naturally that way and this baby is not…idk how anyone finds obesity cute?

I just wasted 28 seconds of my life looking through this Basic's Instagram. She posted this a few days after her naked infant's photo went viral:

Not, "don't post photos of my precious child," but "be sure to give me credit, p**os, and blog click$$$, kthanksbai!"

She's disgusting.

I've just been looking through IG and I'm confused – I was thinking that even though the baby looked heavy, it was okay because she's standing up in many of the photos, indicating she's way ahead of her milestones for 9 months.

Then I saw one dated 4 weeks ago, where the mum says:

Someone can officially go from laying down to sitting up! Walked in to see Kinsley sitting up after her nap.

The baby is 9 months old and she can only just pull herself up to a sitting position? All babies vary but this milestone is generally around 6 months so there is definitely a physical reason to be concerned about her weight right now.

Also – how does she get all those photos of the baby looking like she's standing up if Baby can't even sit up independently? Does she Velcro the poor kid to the brick wall?

Anyway, over the last week or two the photos of the baby are all clothed – no more nude shots – so maybe Mommie learned a valuable lesson (although she hasn't taken the nude ones down along with all those dubious foreign comments.)

Let me tell you a little bedtime story:

I had a therapy client last year who was a pederast. As in, according to him, he looked but had never touched. He was good about attending therapy and I was glad that he recognized it as a problem and was at least taking steps to curtail it (and was in a position to be somewhat monitored). As he didn't have children and worked as a machinist (and never mentioned any sort of specific situation where he had been inappropriate with a child, though he did discuss his fantasies), my hands were tied as far as reporting him – there has to be a credible and specific threat to children if one is to break confidentiality.

ANYWAYS, he told me he collected "innocent nudes" of children from the internet. He said IG was his favorite "catalog." Yes, that's right – he referred to it as a "catalog." And he's not the only one. He said he "knew the legal limits," so he just stockpiled hundreds upon hundreds of readily and publicly available images of very young children, naked or in a state of "seductive" (HIS WORDS) undress. He talked about sharing them with a friend, like baseball cards. I ended up recommending he see a therapist with more experience than I have after about 6 weeks, as I didn't feel professionally prepared to deal with it (I'm still an intern, and though I worked closely with a supervisor on this, it's her license on the line so I thought she should take the lead).

Are you me? I'm a psychotherapy intern who recently referred a client out after a supervisor's advice for almost the exact same thing. My client said that while he has never acted on his impulses or even looked at "real" deepnet type cp, that he loves instagram and mentioned hashtags like "bathtime" and "pottytraining" as things that turned up so much material for him that he didn't even need seek out illegal options. I wish I had a good way to inform more moms about this type of risk as even friends of mine post  naked/semi-naked kid pics on their public instagrams.
