I remember seeing the photo of their ultrasound going viral last year so I was glad to see that there was a blog . . . but she's totally a GOMI.

I don't know.  On the one hand, were I to learn that I was expecting quadruplets, a part of me would seriously consider DOLLA DOLLA BILL$ and shill out my family for money because how the hell do you afford quadruplets???

But then hopefully someone would slap some sense back into me, because that's not a good idea.  I'm not, however, going to shame parents of quadruplets for having outside help.  If they can afford help, or people want to volunteer, go for it.  You can only hold and care for so many babies at one time.

All that said, something's . . . off with the way she talks about them?  Like, it seems like she views them more as dolls than people, you know?  Always dressing them up and doing these weekly photo shoots . . . her own living Pinterest pin.

Who knows.  Maybe 23.5 hours of her day are absolutely miserable/terrifying/exhausting and she chooses to only talk about the good 1/2 hour.  She certainly wouldn't be the first mommy blogger to do so.

But they definitely both want to be famous.  Ugh.

I'm sure she's harmless but her blog seems so unauthentic with all of the staged photos/exclamation points. dead

Thank you!  That is what I said earlier in the thread.  It feels like she views them as her dolls, not her children.   Like, they are her trophies for winning the infertility bowl.  She seems so smug too.  Ugh, this woman, I could go on for days.

Maybe it's a defense mechanism based on fear.  It's horrible to have a kid in the NICU, and having micropreemies (which I think the quads would qualify as) is even scarier.  Lots of parents find it difficult to bond with their babies at that time because they're so scared of losing them.  So maybe that's the reason?  But then, it has been like five months now and the girls are by all accounts healthy and thriving, sooo . . .

Another date night last night.  Someone on FB asked them how many sitters they had for the girls when they go out.  Ashley said "between 2 and 6 depending on skill level". facepalm

Shopping at the mall today. They have 2 people with them to help them shop.

I had to register for this forum when I saw this. I too saw this couple on FB and thought they were cute, it was a good story, all that. I was turned off by all the fundraising, but in general they didn't bug me too much until the babies were born. They're just way over the top. I'm sick of her hooker makeup, and just the vibe I get that she's super fake or just doesn't get it.

They must have a ton of help. I have two kids and don't get "date nights" once a month, let alone every week. And I did a double take when I saw the post about their new Etsy shop, since "Mommy" will be staying home and will have time on her hands. Say what? You have FOUR NEWBORNS. How do you have any realistic expectation of getting free time? All the blog posts, meet and greets (?), and all that just make it obvious they are making this their meal ticket. It's all very attention-grabby and off putting.

YES! Same here! I couldn't believe they didn't have a thread when I checked months back. I felt like I was the only one that wasn't worshiping the ground they walked on. I always found it strange that the original viral photos of her at the dr's office had her looking like a haggard housewive and then every photo after was the over the top makeup look, clearly because she got the audience she wanted and had to start with the new image. When they announced they were starting an Etsy shop, that about put me over the edge. I had to stop following them on FB. Seriously, you think you're going to have free time? And seriously you're going to capitalize on your FB fame by making "blankets" – simple pieces of fabric with the edges sewn. I also despised her condescending marital advice posts about date nights, time together, how to treat your husband, etc. It's so easy to say that when you don't have kids yet or they are in the NICU but seriously, who has the means to hire 2-6 babysitters for a date night?? They are probably family members doing it for free, but even so, I would not be comfortable w/ that at all. That cannot be a fun night for those people, and I have kids but if someone asked me to help babysit quads I think I would run. I have two kids and work from home and do my hair and makeup about 5% of days. I don't know who is watching her kids but they must have a lot of (FREE) help.

This is just too weird for me. Why the eff would someone start a business like that, plus all the blog, instagrams etc, when they have FOUR newborn babies to take care of?

I think they were poor, they talked about living in a small apartment, didn't have appropriate space or car for their crew…and they saw this opportunity to make others do the work, and use their fame to make their fortune. I don't think I've looked recently to see if it became a full-time gig?

Anyway, just my experience with them. From what I can tell, they deeeeefinitely want to be the next Jon and Kate. And that's my GOMI contribution for the year, lol.

Did anyone notice that the couple who went with them on date night, how I loathe that phrase, had a baby the week before according to comments. A week. No one needs a date night a week after your baby is born.

You posted a picture of your credit card receipts? Really? That was a necessary thing to show?

I had to resurrect this thread because their latest FB posts are driving me INSANE.
Tips on how to tell the babies apart, a video on how quick the mom can calm the babies now ("WATCH NOW!" "MUST SEE!" in the title of their OWN video..), etc. They're so desperate for fame it's sick. Plus, a picture of dad with the babies every time he takes them to get donuts on the weekend? Come on.drool

As soon as I saw that picture of them in the pool, I heard my 80-year old, sassy as hell grandma's voice saying "Good lord! Why don't those babies have hats on?!"  Put hats on those kids!

It's not just me, right?!

No, definitely not just you!
I know they're new parents, but I'm not even a parent yet and I'd never put my future children in some of the positions/situations they do. I was surprised to see them take FOUR newborns in the pool at once.. granted there were 4 people in the water with them, but still. And taking a vacation 6 months after giving birth? It's like it never even happened. Like these babies just-poof!- appeared. I cringe every time I see them positioned on a couch or chair- babies at that age are so wiggly and mommy's busy trying to get a #photooftheday. uh
