I think that's why this thread died down to a degree.  She's too boring to hate read.  Plus, I think the general consensus is that she is an asshole.  She barely even posts even more.  I went and looked and she has had 5 posts in a month.  That's not too great if that's suppose to be her source of income.  I think she is completely uninspired and probably exhausted.  Thing is, exhaustion isn't an excuse in real world jobs.

I also think her budget is severely limited now she has two kids.  She hasn't done a things I want post in forever and most of the jeans she talked about she said she couldn't afford or that she heard they were good through word of mouth.

I just don't think anybody even cares enough to snark on somebody who states/complains the obvious, having two kids under 2 is really f**king hard, over and over.  Mostly I just eye roll her blog and move on.

I have noticed a lot less comments lately.  I wonder how her sites stats are?  I mean, your audience will only in there with you for so long if you only write once a week or less.  She started writing less before Ruby was even born.  I think her inspiration and love for blogging was starting to die before she even had to two kids to drive her crazy.

The whole OMGZ TWO KIDS IS SO HARD thing with MODG pisses me the f**k off. I have a 28 month old and a 6 weeks old and its really not the end of the f**king world, MODG. The tipping point for me is when she said that she hadn't been alone with both kids yet, and Ruby Sue was a MONTH OLD. Are you kidding? When my newbie was 2 weeks old my husband had to go on a business trip for a week and a half. I was alone with a 2 year old, a 2 week old, pets to take care of, a house to clean, etc. All while recovering from a 3rd degree tear and having a newborn with jaundice who had to go back to the hospital for labs every morning. All our family is across the country and our friends have lives and kids of their own. I had to do it all on my own. And to top it all off, my toddler and I both came down with the flu a few days into it. But despite all this I never even mentioned any of it on Facebook or anything, the only ones who heard my sob story where my husband, my mom, and now you lucky cat ladies. That's life, I'm not gonna b***h about it, everyone has horror stories about those first weeks/monthss after adding to your family. Anyway, I will shut up now. Main point: you're not special MODG. STFU about how hard it is and count your lucky stars that you have a husband who will put up with you and family that is close enough to help.

And I know some people think its "wrong" to speculate about their financial situation, but I don't care. It seems like they are having issues. She went nuts about how she HAD to have a girl, then she never even did a nursery for her, and I can't remember where I saw it, either her blog or IG, but she mentioned that a lot of Rubys clothes are hand me downs from friends or G. That would seem normal for lots of other people, but definitely not for over the top MODG who seemed so spendy just a few months ago. I bet she's regretting that Florida babymoon. eyeroll

I'm really glad you said this, about the two-kid thing. I mean, I'm pregnant with my second and I know it will be hard but fer crying out loud, it's not like people haven't been doing this FOR-EVER. And aren't you supposed to have some 'context' the second time around? Like, with my first, I felt like ohmygodshe'snevergoingtosleepever and of course now I understand that that sleeplessness, that round-the-clock care, it's tough but it doesn't really last that long in the grand scheme of things. I dunno, I know this is her schtick (I'm a relatively new reader of hers) but after going back and reading some of her older posts, I just think she's a brat.

So, the baby is having trouble with her digestion and you take her to a naturopath *instead* of a pediatrician?

Your problem isn't yeast. Your problem is bad information from dubious sources. Also the need to feel like the world's biggest martyr for sticking with breastfeeding even though it was sooooo haaaarrrrdddddddddddd.

I could not have said it better.  Yeast overgrowth is usually associated with immune suppression (either pharmacological or as in the case of AIDS). I tried to do a brief literature search, and it seems that it can be a problem in pre-term infants (since infants' guts are sterile and they have no yet established healthy gut flora that prevents bad microorganisms from taking hold), but it would definitely be a more serious condition than a naturopath could handle.  What does she have against science?  And if someone were to suggest in the comments that she should take the baby to a doctor, all hell would break loose.

TL; DR: I agree with you that the problem probably isn't gastrointestinal yeast; if the problem is too much gastrointestinal yeast, that needs to be taken care of by a doctor because something more serious could be happening.

She officially lost me 100% today with that shit. Eczema is not a reason to eat nothing but meat and lettuce or whatever she's doing now. And why is her husband being tortured into this, too?

I have nursed my kids. I understand the obsession over "If I eat this, will he react?" But she is LOOKING for problems. True food allergies to this degree would be devastating to the child. She would be screaming, not sleeping at all, vomiting, etc. Eczema could be from the dry air, laundry detergent or hell, a minor food reaction. But putting yourself out there like you are the World's Best Mom because you are cooking yeast-free food for absolutely no discernible reason is asinine.

Look, go to your homeopath or your naturopath or whatever, but unless her pediatrician says this child is sick, she needs to stop with all of this. It's pathetic.

She lost me with the fact that the latest post was (yet again!) a super defensive response to a SINGLE comment from a SINGLE reader. Said comment was not at all b***hy or judgmental,  just asked to read more non-baby-centered content. As a mom of a toddler, I know that there's not much non-baby time, but damn girl, RELAX. Maybe have some wine next time instead of firing off another post about how hard your life is and how no one understands (that tag, "you think you know but you have no idea" sums up MODG's entire world view)

Nope, she legitimately thinks people will buy mugs emblazoned with her crap-ass Hyperbole and a Half knockoff MS Paint drawings.
