Boy oh boy am I glad I jumped on this bandwagon. I stumbled across her IG a day or two ago and thought to myself how she irked me just from looking through her pictures & the comments her followers left. I'm definitely going to have to read back a little more into her blog. The demographics posted on her background are intriguing enough because apparently there is something off with this chick. Thank you for the new train wreck you guys!smile

Things you need to know:

She's addicted to internet message boards.  She started her claim to fame by posting on a DMB board where she met her husband.  She would post countless selfies and watch the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show with these dudes who would call the models "thick"

Her husband's screen name was "cash" as in cash money…because he's rich?

She "starred" in a "movie" depicting how difficult it is to be pretty.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FGNjJYnjFA

She's always been super vague about how they met and only when called out on GOMI did she *finally* admit they met online.

She lied about when they got married, had a secret wedding for a green card and the pretty, pretty princess day a year or two later.  She's from Canada and they live in Texas.

Most of us know her from TheKnot (she's also a frequent poster on TheNest, TheBump and GBCN). There, she was encouraged to start her blog and from then on has pimped the blog through message boards to gain a wider audience.  Most of our general dislike of Veronika comes from her online activities, things she has said and things she has done.  Unfortunately, in typical Veronika fashion, she has deleted all of her previous screen names and posts.  She has done this before in the past.

Her IG followers are insane. They ask her the most asinine questions and she answers with authority in a "teaching" tone.  It's the biggest freaking trainwreck in progress.

She has a Google Alert on herself and reads GOMI religiously.

Don't forget her fourth day hair routine, wearing a full face of makeup to her kid's swimming class, and her "blessed" life.

Chasing the Wild Snark: when observing her IG you must make note of the following overused phráses: my sweet baby, sweet girl, so blessed, so lucky, grateful, fulfilled, and lovely.

Also note: only decorates her house in gray and purple. Owns too many throw pillows, puts pieces of coral EVERYWHERE (most notable, a cake dish), has chandeliers and an expensive table yet uses $5.00 ready blinds that look awful.

She also saves NICU babies at her job…

That advice column is hilarious. I put myself on the line for you hamcats and checked on all the bloggers contributing. Only two have kids older than babies, and the oldest child is three. Why even include questions about toddlers and preschoolers? That OMG I'm a mother, if I f**k this week up my child will be broken 4evaaaaa phase doesn't need other brand new mothers stoking the anxiety, it needs people who've BTDT, come out the other side and can be reassuring about it. I wonder if Moxie still posts?

ETA she does! http://askmoxie.org/. I love her style. So down to earth, unassuming, comforting, practical and respectful.

I definitely noticed the overused phrases right off the bat. I just couldn't. Not to mention, like catsmeow pointed out her full face of makeup at swim class.

I couldn't agree more with you on the BTDT. No one wants your advice if you are first time mother to a newborn. What could you possibly contribute with a first time child that is under the age of six months? I would rather hear from the other mothers who have older children. What pisses me off even more is that she continues to act as if she knows it all even after admitting she doesn't. I don't get it. This girl leaves a bad taste in my mouth…puke

She works at a Children's hospital in the PR deparment, was involved in a RSV article, her mother is a nurse, and yet she had to ask in a message board the symptons of RSV because she can't tell from a common cold.

If it's that big of a deal that you put blinds up in a house that isn't your "forever house" take the f**king things with you when you leave… I have never heard of such.
