Book Club Helene Sula HeleneInBetween Happy Friday hams! It’s been a long introspective week and a half for me and tomorrow is going to be busy and offline. So I thought why not do a GOMI Book Club post? Today we are reading ‘Two O’Clock on a Tuesday at Trevi Fountain: A Search for an Unconventional Life Abroad‘ by Helene Sula, aka HeleneInBetween. We’ve been discussing ole Helene around here for about 11 years (!) so I figured it was time to force myself through her book. So pack your bags, start deleting questions about your visa status, and get ready to slog through another blogger book! I have to get Kindle versions now because I don’t have space for actual books anymore.
Book Club Instagram Internets TikTok Tinx Happy Friday, besties! It’s time for another GOMI Book Club reading of a blogger/influencer/creator book. This week we will suffer together through the dating advice book of Tinx, aka Christina Najjar, that TikTok girlie who got famous because she was on Gwyneth Paltrow’s radar for 5 minutes. I have no idea what to expect from this book but it’s sure to be a groundbreaking, modern look at dating and relationships! Or not. Either way let’s grab our weight loss injectibles and settle in for ‘The Shift: Change Your Perspective, Not Yourself‘!
Happy Friday, hams! As you may have heard, Naomi Davis, of Love Taza, had her book drop on Tuesday. Obviously this called for a Book Club because I choose to be a miserable person who does things she hates for the entertainment of her community. So after heading to Mister Wright’s in search the perfect cocktail I’m sitting down with ‘A Coat of Yellow Paint: Moving Through the Noise To Love the Life You Live‘ as I move through a pineapple and turmeric 20% alcohol pile of tiny drinks. A soak of yellow booze. So put your littles down for a nap and let’s go on an ‘adventure’ together! Happy Friday, hams! It’s been a while since we did a book reading. I have a few lined up again, so let’s do a few over the next few weeks. Now, I was going to go to this today but I decided instead to bring you Ramshackle Glam‘s second book. So. Yeah. Sigh. Share my suffering as I slog through the painful prose of ‘Carrying On: Style, Beauty, Décor (and More) for the Nervous New Mom‘. Happy Friday hamdizzles! It’s time for another dramatic reading of a blog book. This week we will be reading the second book by Young House Love, and if it’s as exciting as their first book I’m going to need to move into the Franzia factory to make it through. So blazer up, because it’s time to make our way through ‘Lovable Liveable Home: How to Add Beauty, Get Organized, and Make Your House Work for You‘ by Sherry and John Persik. OMG A BOOK CLUB! It’s been a couple of weeks, did you miss me? Of course you didn’t. Well you may wish I’d skipped another week because today we are going to plow through ‘White Jacket Required: A culinary Coming-of-Age Story’ by Jenna Weber of Eat, Live, Run. Hooray! Or not. Well it’s finally Friday and I don’t know about you but it’s been a long, sweat and work filled week over here at Casa Fiestabritches. I actually planned on doing a different book this week; but to be honest, by the time I got home at noon I was just over all the braining I did the past 5 days. I mean my attention span is at nothing right now, hams. So I decided to do a lightweight old classic instead. So get out your eyeliner and coochie cutter denim shorts, because it’s time to read ‘Ramshackle Glam – The New Mom’s Haphazard Guide To (Almost) Having It All’ by Jordan Reid.
