Carly Riordan Podcasts In case you missed it Carly Riordan was on a podcast the other day. To save you time and eyerolls I have #sobravely listened to the entire slog – and am now presenting a recap. So put on your pickleball skort and climb into bed – it’s time to enjoy Carly on ‘The Real Stuff‘. Alix Earle, the already fading TikTok ‘it’ girl of 2023, has been doing her podcast for less than six months and she’s already asking followers to provide content ideas.
Brooks Nader, professionally attractive, went on the podcast known as We Met At Acme. The podcast bills itself as discussion and advice ‘about millennial dating’. So of course Brooks had to tell everyone how she met her now husband Billy Haire. The story doesn’t make either of them look very good. Tinx Najjar, branded herself as The Internet’s Big Sister, was once the queen of the ’emotional support water bottle’. Well this Dry January it seems she’s hitting another kind of bottle – and advising others to do the same. Swiping Up, fighting ‘the stigma’ of being called mean girls, is trying to dig out of yet more self-created problems. It seems their ‘positive space’ brand tried to grab some snark street cred by ripping into a gramthirsty who dared to finally block them after they repeatedly went after her (while tagging her each time). Unfortunately the up-with-women audience they’ve cultivated with their influencer-friendly podcast did not appreciate their pivot into bortchiness and a whole flamewar erupted. The Swiping Up brand, originally a snarky call-out instagram account that somehow turned into an influencer ass kissing podcast, is apparently imploding. After founding partner Ester Lewis informed the other two she would be leaving the group, a statement was issued – and almost immediately the remaining members began stirring up drama. Lani, podcaster and award winning author who you may remember from Dusted and Storywonk, has revealed some trigger-warning-required allegations against her ex-husband Alistair Alastair.
