“Crappy Pictures” Finds Your Repeated Requests Worthy Of Public Mockery

Amber, illustrated with crankyness, returned from vacation to find her email inbox packed with 668 emails.

Honestly, not too bad. I mean, it is sorta bad. But at least it isn’t over 1000 again.

Amber continues whining, while attempting to assure ua she isn’t whining, about all the emails from people asking her highness for things.

No big deal, nothing wrong with people asking for stuff.  I usually reply, but sometimes I don’t.

Fair enough, we all get email that we might ignore. Unfortunately one person continued to email several times wanting a response. Since there was a vacation auto-responder the continued emails were clearly the height of rudeness and demanded a public shaming on Amber’s site:

If you received an email reply that said anything other than the single word, “No” then I’m not talking about you. If you received an email reply that only said, “No” then I am talking about you. Please look up the word ‘annoying’ in a dictionary. And perhaps ‘vacation’ as well.

Well alrighty then. It must feel good to not only be dismissed with one word, but then see the blogger proceed to complain to their huge audience about what a nuisance you are. She just returned from vacation – surely she isn’t lacking material for a post, so why blow up something that is a daily, privately handled irritation for 99% of the world? Posts complaining about some email a blogger has to deal with always come off as divatastic to me, and I don’t understand why bloggers continue to post them.

PostSecret Freaking Out Internets With Possible Murder Confession

riiiiiiight.

A card posted for PostSecret’s “Sunday Secrets” has internet detectives trying to discover the provenance of the secret. The card, which says “I said she dumped me, but really I dumped her (body)” seems to imply the writer is confessing to a murder, complete with aerial map.

PostSecret fans are already urging the webmaster to contact the police and chiding him for posting such a thing without investigating it. Since the internets will no doubt discover the location of the map, the sender, and have a redditor out there with a shovel sometime before dawn on Monday I’m sure we will know soon enough whether there is a crime behind this – or just a sick joke.

Daycare Workers Fired After Instagramming About Kids In Their Care

Jena Ferrel, a daycare worker at A Heavenly Haven Learning Center 2 in Newport News, VA, has been outed as the employee posting pictures of the children in her care to Instagram – along with captions that were not considered amusing by parents.

Melissa Jordan, mother of the child in the left hand image above, told WAVY-TV:

I don’t know who these children are. I don’t know their parents. I don’t know how to get in touch with them. They have to know kids are on the internet being exploited. I don’t know how else to tell them.

A Heavenly Haven’s manager was also leaving comments on the posted images. The manager and Ferrel were both fired for violating company policy which forbids personal cameras in the classrooms.

Leigh Keck Is Not Sorry For Sleeping With Your Husband

Today in “uh…ok” news, a post over on Purple Clover titled “A LETTER TO THE WIFE OF MY BOYFRIEND” is starting debate about where sisterhood and feminism end and slut shaming begins.

Dear Wife of My Boyfriend,
I’m not sorry.
I’ve done countless undeniably repulsive things — all without an ounce of regret. I kissed him on the stoop of your house while your birthday party was blazing in the backyard. I didn’t wake him when he fell asleep after sex, so he’d spend the entire night in my bed. I made sure (you don’t want to know how) he stayed over far longer than he intended to and had to rush home at 3:30 a.m. without showering first. He must have reeked of my scent when he walked in your bedroom door. I took pleasure in knowing that.

She goes on to say that the only reason the affair ended was because it was causing the mistress pain, which was something the husband simply couldn’t handle: “Cheating on you, he could live with. Hurting me, he couldn’t bear.” She then expresses the desire to take the wife out for a drink so the Mrs. could see what a totally nice gal the author is.

I understand that humans are complex, and it’s possible to feel many conflicting emotions and motivations at the same time. But isn’t it a little ridiculous to protest about how you aren’t heartless moments after detailing the ways you enjoyed making another person hurt?

Hugo Schwyzer Live Tweets Manic Melt Down

Hugo Schwyzer, the male feminist mostly known via Jezebel and for sexting p**n stars, recently quit the internet. Shortly afterward he apparently attempted suicide. Now it seems he is livetweeting a manic episode:

The tweets seem to have stopped as of 30 or so minutes ago, but in around 100 tweets in under two hours Schwyzer posted such statements as “My wife is going to keep my kids away from me for who knows how long” and”After the sexting and the fraudulence and the sheer ugly debasedness of it all I’m finished.”

“Handbasket” Says [CSA material] Is Not Assault

Mrs. Handbasket, her husband is not a bad guy, has spent a year and a half explaining why people who partake of CSA are not really criminals. Now she’s putting Toronto police on blast for saying such images are no different than r**e:

This is all kinds of silly.

If we prosecuted only those people who looked at images of child r**e, my husband would be home with me now. If this detective means that a photo of a naked child is the same as child r**e, he doesn’t understand what r**e is.

Telling us to remember that “not all CSA includes images of small children and not all CSA images are of crime scenes”, she wants us all to “not cheapen the horrifying abuse endured by some of these children by equating the photo with the horrifying abuse”.

Toronto police want to change the terminology used, saying “[t]he term ‘p**nography’ indicates consent”. Mrs. Handbasket on the other hand has said in the past that “[l]ooking at CP, searching for it, enjoying it does not mean the guy is a p*dophile”.

Elaine Wants The Internet To Get Her A Horse

Meanwhile, on tumblr, people are still waiting to see if Elaine will get her horsey. Back in March Elaine posted a plea to the internet:

I tumblr! My name is Elaine. You can see me in this picture! That is me holding the sign, HI! Well my hubby said that if this gets 1 MILLION notes, he will buy me a horse. I would love a horse I grew up on a farm where I rode and ate horses til i was 15 when I moved. I have not seen a horse since, not even a picture! Only one painting I painted in 7th grade. My husband obviously thinks this is going to be an impossible task thats why I am taking this on the interwebs where i can get likes. I have 5,000 on facebook so I am almost there. I want brown horse with some white. I will braid the hair. Thanks so much everyone! Please help me achieve this! 🙂 God Bless

Though Elaine has promised “when i get a horse it will be clean. so clean and shiny and clean” and swears “i never skinned a horse”, she still only managed to get around 27,000 notes toward her goal. A month ago t-shirts went on sale to further promote the cause.

I don’t know if this is real or the most bizarre troll ever, but it’s just nice to see internet begging for something besides babies.
