Becky Harks, the human carnival who runs the blog "Mommy Wants Vodka" and an abuse/assault survivor site called Band Back Together, has been claiming for a while now that some stranger has been physically assaulting her. The first post apparently appeared in early May. Now it seems Becky is claiming the police do not believe her multiple reports of these phantom men attacking her, informing facebook tonight: Going to turn myself into the cops tonight who claim I filed a false report. She has evidently again updated facebook, saying only: In response to all this...whatever is going on, her "Pranksters"...

Jessica Quirk, wears stuff, wants people to know she wears the same things over and over because she is super real. The Feminist Breeder, a strong black woman, is having yet another emotional uproar. It seems she posted a picture of her topless daughter to Facebook, and the image was removed. In typical mature Gina fashion, she responded by reposting the image, along with a caption calling employees at Facebook "a bunch of perverts". Not so shockingly, Facebook responded by once again removing the image, and then blocked her for 30 days. I just... ugh. facebook so hard. And every pervert who reported that picture. Brain Pickings "curator" Maria Popova supposedly finances her site via donations and subscriptions, claiming to refuse advertising because she doesn't "believe in this model of making people into currency". Evidently nobody told Maria that littering your posts with affiliate links is virtually the same thing as plastering ads all over your site. She supposedly doesn't disclose that she uses affiliate links because she doesn't consider them "advertising", even though as On Advertising points out, "n every description of the service, Amazon calls the revenue made by partner websites 'advertising fees'". It seems rather hypocritical of Maria to repeatedly shame people...

Christine Keith, blogger at "Adventures of a Thrifty Mama", her husband Randy, and her 14 year old son have been identified by the police as the victims of a "double murder suicide". According to police in Lansing the blogger's husband shot her and her son, then took his own life. Friends of the family say Christine had long been dealing with domestic abuse, even taking out a protection order in the past. A fund has been set up for her three remaining children, who are now with relatives.
