Dooce Mommy Blogging Dooce, no one cares but it’s a slow news day so far, has revealed via podcast that she maybe made too big a deal out of her mental health. She says based on her years of posts where she brings up her variable moods, people apparently got the idea that she was actually mentally fragile – but that wasn’t really the case. I did hammer the nail into my own coffin…I had crafted a narrative that I was the crazy neurotic wife…when he revealed to people that I was the one who asked for the separation all these people were like I can’t imagine what it was like to live with someone so mentally ill.. She went on to say most of her tales of instability were just “curated” stories she shared on her blog, but the “narrative” “worked against” her during the divorce because “a lot of people interpreted” her “as a deranged woman”.
Dooce Internets Mommy Blogging Dooce, formerly relevant, had a rare drama filled week. It all started when some instagramer reposted one of the grillion pics of Chuck to their account. She responded with her usual tact and good humor on facebook. I OWN THIS PHOTO, ALL YOU LOW-LIFE PIECES OF SHIT-EATING CRETINS WHO ARE INCAPABLE OF PRODUCING CONTENT ON YOUR OWN. Evidently not getting the obsequious apologetic response she was used to, she took to twitter to continue her rant. She then carpet bomb reported gram accounts for copyright infringement. This somehow escalated into Dooce being afraid for her safety when she discovered instagram passed on her sooper private sekrit email address in the takedown request. Please. I seriously need your help with this, I am shaking. I have reported several accounts of copyright infringement to IG concerning stolen photos of Chuck, and apparently they have shared my personal information with the offenders. I just got an email from one of the offenders to a private email address…If he has this private email address, does he also have my phone number and address? She continued to post messages she claims she is receiving, saying instagram and facebook need to do something about the person, presumably because she can’t find the ‘block’ button. Of course her fanpoodles jumped on, saying she should run them over with her car and saying they’ll “kick his ass” for her, and saying the offender “does not know who he’s dealing with!”. One poodle wondered “How in 2016, could any citizen of the internet not recognize a photo of the late Congressman Chuck …… and not know that the photo likely belonged the the all fabulous @Dooce???????” because obviously millennials should know everything about a middle aged former mommy blogger. This flip out is a far cry from her reaction to the same type of thing three short years ago. Yeah. Whatever. Is it copyrighted? Sure. Would I like attribution? Of course. Is that a reasonable expectation? Probably not. That photo has taken on a life of it’s own, and if it makes someone chuckle then, hole. My work here is done. Dooce said she “tried calling police before and they essentially laughed at me”.
Dooce, still talking, is still talking. She was apparently a speaker at some “XOXO” conference. I guess she was there to yammer on yet again about why she left blogging. She is now claiming that despite her amazing sponsored content, she’s basically being forced to retire-except-not because brands now want approval on sponsored post content.
Dooce Internets Mommy Blogging Dooce, irrelevant, evidently went to the Problogger event and “told the audience how soul destroying it was to do sponsored posts”. She told people who had paid to come and wanted to hear the “Queen of Mommyblogging” talk about how to monetize a blog that the “only way that you can make money in the States is through sponsored content”. She then proceeded to call writing sponsored posts “a gruelling experience” and declared personal blogging dead. While at Problogger, where she complained about doing sponsored posts, she bravely confronted the soul sucking task of posting what appears to be a sponsored Target instagram. She then went home where she faced the gruelling experience of writing a sponsored Target post for her dead personal blog. Dooce, still talking about how she “retired” from blogging, is still talking about how she “retired” from blogging. In an interview with ProBlogger she yet again bemoans the current state of blogland, saying there’s “been a huge shift in the industry since 2011”. She then goes into why her job is harder than your job. Dooce, valedictorian of self-importance, has announced she is moving on to “different sources of professional fulfillment”. Apparently “these sources have become so numerous” that they require what is possibly the ugliest website I have seen since GeoCities shut down – heatherbarmstrong.com. As the Ex-Mr. Dooce returns to pseudoparenting the two random kids who live with his lady friend, newly single mom Dooce and her daughters spent some time hanging out with the half-nose selfie king she constantly vacations with – and it seems as if her gentleman caller is really enjoying the family time.
