The Feminist Breeder Will Dox People

Gina, aka The Feminist Breeder, troll hunter, has spent the past two years rooting out “trolls” in her “community”. Last week, in her ongoing effort to control access to her amazing world, she informed all subscribers they must provide links to personal social media accounts so she can verify their identity. Apparently at least one subscriber decided to peace out rather than give Gina her information, and cancelled her subscription. Gina promptly disabled her account, at which point the user asked Paypal for a refund since she had already paid for the month, and she still had two weeks left from that payment.

And then everything went straight to crazytown. Gina took to the google machine and dug up everything she could about the person, based on information provided by the user during the Paypal transaction. And then she posted that information on her Facebook page.

Her point evidently not made, she then took to twitter to call out the user. Gina then made the ultimate feminist move – she tried to get the user’s husband involved in handling his woman.

Gina is claiming the woman has been “stalking me for FIVE years”, and published a post to her blog asking readers for support. The alleged “stalker” “troll” has now responded with a post of her own telling her side of the story.

Yes, I subscribed to her lame ass blog. I’ll admit that. But aside from occasionally snarking her on BBTFB, and asking PayPal for a prorated refund. I NEVER. AND I mean NEVER. interacted in any way with this crazy pants…Apparently, The Feminist Breeder, safely behind her paywall, shared as much of my personal information as she possibly could…she basically doxes, or shares as much of my personal info with as many strangers as possible…

With both sides screaming “TOS violation” and “stalking” it’s hard to sort out precisely what’s going on, but if you’re bored today this should give you some WTFery to rabbit hole into.

RewardStyle Queen Is Baking A Princess

ugh

Today in nothing’s sacred news, Amber Venz Box, the coppertopped overlord of RewardStyle, has announced she has a little liketoknowit in the oven. She and her husband Baxter Box are expecting a daughter this fall. Obviously the woman who invented Put A Monetize On It! couldn’t just throw up a twee post with some baby shoes or something – she put up a credit filled announcement party post.

I am elated to finally share some news with you that Baxter and I have been keeping secret for the last few months: WE ARE EXPECTING A BABY GIRL! Little B.B. will be joining us this fall!

The post included a giveaway for readers complete with yay follow 2 different instagrams and also tag a mommy you know, and a whole bunch of legal contest rules. Why just say ‘guess what, I had sex with Bento Box’ when you can contest sponsor the crap out of it, right? No word yet on whether there will be custom Baby Box shoes in which to attend the Rockstud Rodeo, but I’m sure that kid will be kitted out better than a Honda in a Fast/Furious movie.

Aw ok snark over, I’ve had some (all the) wine tonight and I’m a bit soft, so congrats to the obviously happy couple. Good luck little Baby Box and Amberlamps – and hooray for wannabe fashionable mommy bloggers! Something tells me a whole new world of affiliate cash is about to open up to you.

Oh Joy Has Some Advice About Starting A Business

ohboyohjoy2

Joy Cho, who co-founded the womp womp known as Pippit alongside pals Josh and Naomi Davis of Love Taza, would like to share some advice with you would-be entrepreneurs.

Business with a friend, a close personal friend, is usually not a great idea…it usually makes it such that something goes wrong…either one person is way more into it than another, either people have different needs…I’ve seen it tear friendships…

Joy advises people to “really assess the friendship first”, “make sure you each have very clear roles”, and “make sure both people are really into it.”

When you’re the one into it and you’re putting your whole mind your whole passion…everything into it…you have more room to grow when you’re not limited by another person…

Coming less than a month after the announcement that Pippit has been discontinued, it does make one go ‘Hmmmmmm…’

New Instagram Attempts To Get Around ‘liketoknow.it’

wubiwoo

Apparently a new instagram account appeared the other day. Its purpose seems to be providing sources to items featured by bloggers using the ‘liketoknow.it‘ affiliate link system. The account is called ‘whereubuyit‘ and bloggers are already pissed at this circumvention of their affiliate income. The two day old account already has 300 followers, and climbing. I don’t see the account lasting too long because surely some litigious blogger or RStyle rep will have it shut down.

I don’t have much to add here but wanted to see what other people think of this. I’m not a fan of denying people income, but on the other hand, there should be more clarification on how the affiliate link cookies really work. What say you, hams?

Cary Randolph Is Getting Married In The Hamptons, Because Of Course She Is

scary

Cary Randolph, finally getting married, has announced she will be getting married June 20th in Bridgehampton. She also shared the amazing love story that has led her to this ultimate achievement.

For our first date, Doug invited Cary to dinner at Tamarind in downtown Manhattan. She didn’t know this was a test of compatibility–was she adventurous enough for Indian food? Nearly two years later, the answer is yes.

She goes on to say “[f]rom the start, we knew we would get married on Long Island’s East End”. We all knew she would as well, because Cary’s been obsessed with the Hamptons for years.

The happy couple, engaged about 15 minutes ago, have also set up a Bloomingdale’s registry. It features such must haves as a $600 Waterford “Vodka Set and Chill Bowl” and Ralph Lauren nut bowls, as well as a $130 “eye massager”.

So it begins, Cary’s life as the next…I don’t know, whoever the current Hamptons socialite du jour is, I stopped caring around the time Devorah Rose started at Social Life Magazine. I’m more interested in trying to figure out why Cary made a big deal about moving to St. Louis to ‘found’ her own website only to get married and move back half a year later, but, whatever.

Cary Randolph Will Finally Get Married

Cary Randolph, husband hunter, seems to have finally nailed down a man. Just six months after moving back to Missouri her boyfriend apparently finally stepped up and proposed – and she’s already starting a wedding diet.

mandolphweds

Her man finally popped the question 3 weeks ago, but without further confirmation I thought maybe it was a joke. Especially since a mere month ago, following speculation of a breakup, she was spewing rapture about life in St. Louis.

STL is pretty amazing. I love it here. My apartment sits right across the street from Forest Park, and on weekend mornings, I go for a jog and then pop around the corner for coffee. Saint Louisans take their coffee so seriously! I see my family at least once a month, thank God, and have a fantastic group of friends to see every other day and night. And when you factor price and convenience into your lifestyle plan, there’s so much more to do here than in New York.

With her fiance based in NYC I assume she will be moving back for what will be the fourth or fifth time now. But hey, congrats! All that hard work finally paid off!

Love Taza Is Selling Her Clothes If You Want Them

wutwhy

Love Taza, as a family, is apparently selling off her clothes. She says she is in “crazy spring cleaning mode and wanted to sell a few favorites here before donating the rest”. For just $15 in shipping the highest bidder can own some used Anthro/Forever 21/J Crew/Zara clothing.

The fire sale comes on the heels of the announcement that Pippit went to the big app farm in the sky. If nothing else, it’s amusing to see how much fangirls will pay for used clothes just because they touched the skin of Almighty Naomi.
