Dani Mathers Charged With Invasion Of Privacy

Dani Mathers, that Playboy Playmate who apparently takes pictures of women in locker rooms, has been “charged with one count of invasion of privacy” for her weird, entitled snapchat behavior back in July.

Mathers posted a series of snapchat videos of a woman, reportedly aged in her 70s, fully nude and taking a shower in the locker room while Mathers snickered and said “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either”.

After massive backlash Mathers posted some apology snaps and later tweeted:

…I love empowering women and have dedicated my life to that.. I made a horrible mistake and am sorry

Mathers could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

YouTuber Charged With False Report In Alleged Hate Crime Attack

Calum Mcswiggan, who runs a youtube channel for “LGBT+ Lifestyle”, claimed a few days ago via an instagram post that he was the victim of a brutal, possibly homophobia fueled attack.

Screen Shot 2016-07-01 at 10.08.00 AM

But the police are telling a different story.

…the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that Mr. McSwiggan had no visible injuries and that it could not substantiate his account. The sheriff’s department said he had been taken into custody after deputies saw him vandalizing a car, and provided a booking photo in which no facial injuries could be seen…[he] was later seen hitting himself with the handle and receiver of a pay phone at the jail and was taken to a hospital…

Mcswiggan claims on his facebook page that he did not lie, he WAS attacked.

I have spent my whole adult life campaigning for LGBT+ equality and did not take this attack lightly. I can not say for 100% that this was because I was gay but I can’t think of any other justification for this random attack…Many people are trying to discredit my story but …[j]ust because there were no visible marks on my face does not mean I was not attacked. Being accused of being a liar and being called a disgrace to the LGBT+ community, a community I’ve dedicated my life to, is more painful than any hate crime could ever be.

He has since been charged with “a misdemeanor count of false report of a criminal offense”.

‘Stiletto Me Up’ Charged With Extortion

Egreis Gjergjani, the blogger behind Stiletto Me Up, has apparently been charged with extortion and witness tampering in Orange County, FL.

The crux of the charges seems to be that her stepmother noticed “suspicious activity” on her credit report and “suspected” “Shoe Queen” Egreis was responsible. The stepmother filed two reports with the police about her suspicions. The stepmother alleges that at this point, Eggy called her stepmother and said her father had sent her a sex tape of himself and the stepmother, and if the stepmother didn’t drop all the charges, Eggy would release the tape on the internet.

After repeated questions on her instagram, she finally made a statement about the matter.

She also apparently made other statements on instagram claiming this was “nothing but retaliation” for her father filing for divorce from her stepmother.

Egreis was arrested and shortly after posted bail. She then apparently went out to shop and post gramworthy pics of herself at a mall or something.

Kelli Stapleton Pleads Guilty

Kelli Stapleton, the mom blogger charged with trying to murder her autistic daughter, pleaded guilty to first-degree child abuse. The plea was entered one day shy of the date Stapleton drove her daughter out to a lake and lit up grills inside her vehicle in an attempted murder-suicide by carbon monoxide.

The plea was part of a plea bargain that drops the attempted murder charge – and of course allows her to avoid a trial. She still faces up to life in prison.

Mommy Wants Vodka Back In Court And Nothing Really Happened

auntscheky

Aunt Becky, was going to try and do some kind of play on “Aunt Trainwrecky” here but can’t seem to make it work, was back in court today to deal with the charges claiming she filed false reports. After being charged with two felony counts, she continued to claim she was in physical danger as her fans poured money into a “protection fund”.

But it seems all that happened at court today was a “Pretrial Diversion Application“, with a new date set for October 15th.

In the majority of cases, offenders are diverted at the pre-charge stage. Participants who successfully complete the program will not be charged or, if charged, will have the charges against them dismissed; unsuccessful participants are returned for prosecution.

So basically it sounds like nothing is going to come of this. Womp.

Luxury Lifestyle Blogger Charged With Identity Theft, Grand Larceny

Untitled

David Tripp, the effete fraud behind the blog “The General Aesthete“, was arrested for using stolen credit cards to make large purchases of luxury goods at such stores as Jil Sander, Marni, and Marc Jacobs.

Using the name ‘Kelly’ and saying he was a ‘stylist’ for various celebrities, Tripp would select thousands of dollars worth of merchandise and then pay using stolen American Express cards. He was arrested when the general manager of the Marc Jacobs store noticed the name on the credit card was ‘Kelli’, not ‘Kelly’. After googling the cardholder’s name he found a business phone number, and quickly verified that the card was stolen. Tripp was then arrested at the store and later released on bail. His facebook and Instagram appear to be deleted as well.

So I guess now we know how at least one of these luxury lifestyle bloggers made ends meet. If this were normal practice it would certainly answer a lot of questions as to how these seeming nobodies from nowhere manage to blast onto the scene (seriously, this guy was everywhere back in 2012) with blogs full of thousand dollar geodes and 50 pairs of $500 shoes.
