Internets Jessica Quirk Messica finally has pictures of the event that has defined her life: OMG! Got the disc of wedding photos from @karicrowe and they are G-G-GORGEOUS!!! So many emotionally filled snaps!about 1 hour ago via web Husband Christoper Qwerk was last seen lining up lots of projects that will keep him at work well past midnight, avoiding endless repetitions of “REMEMBER THAT? SO HAPPY” *click next*. Meanwhile, readers of What I Wore will be heading to that everyday Kendo whatever blog to avoid round 13 of Messica’s Wedding: The Pet Semetary Of Events. (Reader recommendation: Jaclyn Day’s fashion blog is also an alternative to the omgimmarried.) Mary Rambin, Houston social, ended another long day of flower shopping and blogging by relaxing with a brew: A new 5 o’clock favorite brew. It’s kinda sweet and not too hoppy…? Obviously I’m still learning. But I know enough to pour it in a glass before downing it. This one just didn’t make it that far. Long day, you understand. Oh I totally understand! I mean, look what you went through yesterday: Shopping flower arrangements at Lexis Florist for the Mayakoba Ladies Polo Final on November 14. I had no idea that Miriam and her team do all of the flowers for the big hotels in Houston. I like this one I found in the freezer so they’re going to make a bigger “beach” version for us. Yes, folks, Mare Mare was so exhausted that her beer didn’t even make it into a glass. She chugged it like a farm hand in August after her grueling work day. Let’s not judge her too harshly for not being a proper lady!
Emily Gould, wrote a book or something, doesn’t confine her advice to food and writing. She also has a protip for the producers of “16 and Pregnant”: i want someone on 16 and Pregnant to get an abortion and then they keep filming her and she never thinks about it and has a great lifeabout 16 hours ago via web I have to agree. Every woman I know who had an abortion has never thought about it again, it’s like it never happened. It had no impact at all! Not at all stressful for a 16 year old to deal with! Megatits McCain, bestselling author, knows how to get people to the polls: Voting is sexy! Get out and exercise your rights today!12:43 PM Nov 2nd via web omg. THE MCRIB IS BACK!!! http://yfrog.com/muq6zj4:22 PM Nov 2nd via Yfrog Cue to a million bros in Arizona doing the Kool Aid man, and suddenly you wind up with: Congratulations Dad!!!!!!! @SenJohnMcCainabout 18 hours ago via Mobile Web Does this mean people are going to keep treating this bubble brain like a relevant political commentator for two more years? Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. Midwest Messica, that bottomless well of vapid that is turning GOMIBLOG into Reblogging A Married Chick, totally doesn’t look pregnant and is Bi-Btown STYLICIOUS!!! Or something. The whole outfit has a relaxed 70s vibe to it. Late seventies, almost early eighties even. I like pairing together black when it had different textures – the felt of the hat, the leather jacket and the kooky woven black sweater. I’m also still in love with this skirt (wore it first like this). It’s denim and in a classic denim skirt cut, but a lot more something than a blue jean skirt (blegh!). This is definitely something I’d wearing in Brooklyn or Bloomington with ease. Thanks to my friend Erika for snapping this photos! After she finished up her hard day’s work of putting on a skirt that fits over her bump, she took to tumblr to dress down you losers! Remember 2008 when tumblr was all like.. WHOA OBAMA! We all love politics! Look at us young democrats (myself included)? I haven’t added or dropped that many people I follow since then and all I see it crying the morning after instead of months of political rants and debate live blogs, ENTHUSIASM, etc. beforehand. Why so different this election? Also, since then I’ve become a lot more apathetic about politics. Probably because even though we vote and call ourselves democratic, we do not live in a true democracy. I know a lot of people think it’s important to sound aware and smart. So of course Messica needs to chime in with some lame observation about how non-political tumblr has become, and what that says about us all. Shouldn’t she be getting busy getting traffic to That’s Shilly so she can start getting free house stuff? Jessica Schroeder Quirk and Adam Quirk, married, are married. You may not have heard they were married, but they are. They are also an internets power couple, and Messica is finally speaking out on how awesome it is to be married, how awesome her husband is, how awesome they are together, and how awesome the awesome is in her awesome. In this interview Messica answers such feminist questions as “What would you say to young women who are considering marriage but are concerned that it might negatively affect their career aspirations?” with the thundering pronouncement that “They are with the wrong person. Your spouse should be your best friend and biggest supporter. The right guy wants what you want for yourself.” This follows her responses about how she “wasn’t 100% ready to leave NYC” and that she “left the city I was in love with for him to be able to have and do the job that he loves” because marriage is about doing whatever makes him happy when you live in Mad Men Fantasy World. At least Jessica clears up exactly how long she has known Mr. Perfect: Apparently “Adam is my longest and best relationship” and “We had our first date in Feb 2009 and were engaged by November. We were married on September 5, 2010, so I guess about a year and a half!” Alrighty then. Good luck with that, guys. You know, I really just can’t capture the full majesty of the Quirk Co-Dependency without copypasting the entire thing, and I just can’t stand to do that. Feel free to go read the full hilarity here.
