Jessica Quirk, of What I Wore and Park Slope fame, is apparently exhausted from her full time job posting pictures of her outfits. She announced today that she will be slowing down her blog for rest of the summer:

Hey everyone! How are ya doing?! Hope your weekend was great and this Monday is off to a great start. I’ve actually been feeling really burnt out lately. I’ve hinted to this on twitter in the past week and have so many drafted posts about the subject, but I’m just not ready to go into yet. In short, I’m going to relax a little with What I Wore for the rest of the summer.

Before you question how one can get “burnt out” being a full time fashion blogger, Messica then adds what may be the real reason for the slowdown:

In the meantime, I am really excited about my new fitness routine at bootcamp! It is so difficult, but I feel so much stronger and will hopefully turn this little beer belly into rock hard beach abs! One can hope, right?

As a GOMIBLOGer said in the forum, sounds more likely that she just wants to spend more time trying to get thin in time for September Fashion Week, because honestly posting pics of your outfits isn’t exactly burning the candle at both ends. But since she says there are things she’s not “ready to go into yet” it could mean anything from she’s trying to get pregnant to she’s got another book deal (she’s been mentioning that she’s sketching again) to she’s thinking about folding WIW and just doing “That’s Quirky“.

I’m sure Messica will enlighten us later with a detailed, all the feelings post about what’s going on. In the meantime, does anyone even still read What I Wore?

Jessica Quirk, married, is sparking baby speculation once again. Her post from last Wednesday (how often does she blog anymore?) features Messica in a typical black maxi dress from Target. Unremarkable, except her readers are buzzing that the dress is a maternity dress.

Apparently the dress is a Liz Lange maternity dress from Target. Why would Messica wear a maternity dress unless she is pregnant? Is this a thing now, wearing maternity clothes for no reason? I get that they are comfortable and all but considering how size tag conscious she has been in the past you would think she wouldn’t want anything that implies “egg burgers and beer gut” going on her body.

Honestly I do wish she would just hurry up and pop out a kid already, and start ‘lifestyle’ blogging like her peers are doing. ‘Personal style’ blogs are a dying niche, Messica! Time to move into the next blogging trend! Oh well, I’m sure she will hop on this trend the way she hops on all the other trends. Meaning, a year behind everyone else.

Jessica Quirk, tall, shared her perfect recreation of Jackie O Friday as part of her amazing and original Mad Men theme week. With her incredible hourglass figure and her long legs (just like her Father!) she combines a fantastically charming and kind personality as well as out of this world writing skills on her brilliant blog, What I Wore.

No one can say anything bad about Mrs. Quirk, who loves the letter Q, drinking booze, and eating. With her hectic schedule running What I Wore full time it’s impressive how she manages to be both wife and style icon for millions and millions of readers while maintaining such poise and grace. She’s inspiring to brillions and we hope she stays on our internets!

Jessica Quirk, so French, is inexplicably still posting to her What I Wore blog. Today’s mediocre offering shows Messica utilizing the classic Hide The Roll Half Tuck with yet another striped shirt.

I bought this top over the weekend. Another. Striped. Top. Whatever! I know what I like! And the best part is that it’ll work year round and with so many pieces I already have in my closet. Win, win!

Is it just me or is Messica really let her beyotchy defensive flag fly these days? Is she pregnant and hormonal? Is she bitter about not attending Fashion Week? Is she frustrated with the process of growing out her hair? For someone who preaches positivity and letting people live their lives judgment free she’s certainly got a lot of opinions on other people these days. Maybe she’s finally starting to regret that move to Bloomtucky Indiana and just doesn’t care anymore. Nothing says ‘I give up’ like not even tucking in your shirt all the way.
